Friendly place with great cheese steaks. Could use a good cleaning as the condiments on the tables are greasy. I get mine to go.

I'm an out-of-towner now, but anytime I'm back in town, T-bird is such a necessary stop. This place is an institution! The source of my family's pizza nites. The best cheesesteaks, yeah chicken-steaks, too!! Great Hoagies, great anything-on-a-long-roll! I'm always surprised and happy to see people visiting from elsewhere (once as far away as Germany) who've been told to stop... More

Friendly people who make great cheese steaks. This year we called our order in ahead of time and it was ready for us upon arrival. The Thunderbird gets very busy, especially at lunch time.

Great neighborhood place. Always friendly and the pizza is great. We love all of the old photos of Broomall on the walls.

We attended a family reunion that included 2 visits to Thunderbird. Friday I had my perfect cheesesteak with fried onions and cherry peppers and wife had an Italian Hoagie. Perfect! Our 2nd visit was to get hoagies for our flight home. Thunderbird put the olive oil in the side and isolated the veggies and meat from the bread using wax... More

I am disappointed with "The Bird" overall. I grew up here and that was the place to go. Now it is Alfredo's up in the row of stores near Swiss Farms Servings here are poor and price is still up there. Awfully small inside for mopre than 2 people at a table Shakes ares good though

There is no better place to go than right on the Pike in Broomall, for the best milkshakes and cheesesteaks around. Memorabilia of this cute little town surrounds you. I grew up with this place.

Rather than push through the crowd and fanfare of downtown for an authentic philly cheesesteak- Just go to Thunderbirds! I am in the Philly area on business several times a year and I look most forward to stopping in and getting a cheesesteak wiz onioins. Bread is fantastic!!So good!

The "TBird Special" is a Cheese Steak w/ ham & tomatoes that really has a unique favor. I enjoy it so much that I never order anything else and I've going there since high school (some 50 years ago).
