I went to this diner last week for lunch. I had the club sandwich and onion rings. Probably the best club sandwich I have ever had in my life. I was so impressed with the food and staff, I came back for diner. I was in that city for business and I am glad I found this place. I will... More

We recently had breakfast at Home Town Diner. It is very difficult to screw-up breakfast; but, this diner did. Bacon needs to be crispy and cooked. The bacon we got was limp and actually barely fried. The eggs over-easy were runny and not completely cooked. I sent the my food back and just drank the coffee. The waitress was very... More

We have enjoyed breakfast many times at this diner, but my new favorite are the ciabatta sandwiches. Be warned, they are big enough to share or have left-overs! The staff is always friendly and attentive. There is an extensive menu to suit every taste and some traditional PA Dutch offering as well. Reasonably priced.

After wine tasting & apple picking on a beautiful fall day following the Lehigh Valley Wine Trail, we came upon the Home Town Diner en route home. The diner is bright & clean, the staff is friendly & knowledgable, and the food is delicious & plentiful! You can order everything from sandwiches to complete dinners, soups to nuts, and we... More

Very clean. Great staff and service. Family owned and run. They are usually on site to oversee staff. May have to wait 15-20 minutes. Especially on weekends. Will.accommodate your requests.

First visit and left there very well satisfied. Seated quickly after a very short wait. Employees were all very pleasant. Menu was loaded with all types of choices. Our server was Alexis and she was extremely pleasant and very good at her job. Food was served in a very timely manner. Our appetizer, main course and dessert were all excellent. Prices... More

This was a great find as we were driving. It is bright and clean. The staff were very helpful and courteous. I had the special of the day which was pork and sauerkraut it was a treat. The pork was semi pulled and cooked with the sauerkraut- lovely taste. I would recommend it anytime.

This is the diner you've always dreamed of. Stopped here twice recently on trips thru Allentown area on Rt. 222 -- for dinner and lunch. Both meals were delicious. There is a huge menu selection. Burgers, club sandwiches, salads (gigantic dinner salads), ribs, fresh corn cut off the cob, and homemade pies were all wonderful. So if you are south... More

We've had some good meals here, but today wasn't one of them. I tried Cajun tilapia. Big mistake. I really don't like fish that tastes like it just came out of a slimy fish tank. Simply awful. Just my opinion, though. They made an adjustment to the price, but I think a refund would have been more appropriate.
