We were fortunate enough to stop at this diner on a recent trip to NY. Our friends had stumbled upon it at lunchtime during a recent trip of theirs. This is the real McCoy of the diner world. The food choices are extensive, and the specials of the day are just that--Special! The chicken pot pie, the Monday special, was... More

This diner was very clean and bright, and has a very friendly staff which provided great service. The food was plentiful and a very good value for the money. We have eaten here several times over the years and it has never disappointed us. We would recommend this diner to anyone in the area.

I've lived within walking distance of this place for the past 7 years and this past weekend was my first time there. I've never been a big diner person, but my sister got a gift certificate here so we went to breakfast. The place is very dated and kinda drab inside, but to my surprise, everything was excellent and fairly... More

Doing our one night stay nearby, we searched for some place to eat dinner besides a chain restaurant. I happened to find this diner, and we were will pleased with the service, cleanliness, and great food. Typical diner atmosphere, but pleasing too. Without a doubt when we are in that area I'd go there for any meal time. I'd had... More

This is a genuine diner. We had chicken croquettes and a gyro. The food was great. The staff was young but very professional, neat and attentive. The place was immaculately clean. I have never been to an eating establishment where all surfaces shined. We will be back

My husband and I occasionally go to this diner. Some times we find the food good, but then other times the food just doesn't hit the mark. The service has always been very good and every waitress has been friendly and helpful. Since there are times we haven't been impressed with our meal, I can only give this diner an... More

We have been to this friendly diner twice so far and have been wowed by the quality of food and outstanding service. We've had the breakfast and the gyros and the onion rings and can't wait to try their other dishes. It's rare to find such a welcoming place where the food is plentiful, delicious, and reasonably priced. I can't... More

This is our favorite spot for breakfast when we visit our daughter at Kutztown university. The staff is friendly, funny and truly care about their customers. Great selection of omelets, pancakes, French toast, etc. portions are large, prices are small. My daughter , wife and I ate a full breakfast for $20.00!! My daughter loved the pumpkin pancakes. My wife... More

The portions were huge. The prices very fair. Cherry crumb was very good. Sweet potatoes were almost a dessert too. Real potties for the chicken pot pie. Topped with a light puff pastry served with a very tasty stew tomatoe dish.

My son, his wife and their daughter treated my husband and I to breakfast this past Mother's Day. The breakfast was awesome (we each ordered eggs they way we liked them)! The service was also great! It was a nice touch to give each mom a carnation flower too! Thoroughly enjoyed breakfast and would definitely recommend visiting Home Town Diner!!
