Food better than the service

I ate both dinner and breakfast here and for both meals the staff seemed overwhelmed and overly busy even though the restaurant was less than half full. In area on business, I stopped in Breezewood, PA. Bedford County for dinner. This Bob Evans is unique. I mentioned to the cashier that this location reminded me of the Cracker Barrel. She said that Bob Evans was first and that this was one of only four like it. Prompt, professional service. Great food choices. Served timely and hot. Very... More

I haven't been to a Bob Evens in many years but I decided to stop in and have lunch during a long trip. The restaurant is a perfect mix of Cracker Barrel and IHOP. The food was quickly made and good.

I wasn't very hungry, but needed a bite to eat before going to bed. I chose the cod fish meal. The portion size, for what I wanted, met my needs but not if I'd have been hungrier. I like Bob Evans and their choice of meals and would probably eat here again, if passing through.

We eat here a lot, and so know this establishment well. It is usually an excellent source of fresh, hot and tasty food. Today, I ordered the new dish, brioche French toast with blueberry compote. When it arrived, the dish was cold. I know the French toast was originally warm as it had just been cooked, but the blueberry compote... More

We walked into this specific Bob Evans restaurant and immediately realized they were trying to be like Cracker Barrel. Huge gift shop now when you first walk in (bigger then their typical gift shelves most of them have). We got seated fairly fast. Not busy at all. Tons of tables empty. But there were people who came in after us... More

Worst Bob Evans. Second time here and both times poor Host, terrible & unfriendly waitresses. Food not up to BobEvans standard at all. Lukewarm and messy in plate. I won't be back passing thru here again. Try another place. One star - would be half if I could. LAstly, store clerk, each time, on the verge of rude!

After working 12 hours, I just wanted a nice hot meal to take home to my family. Called ahead with my order. When I arrived, no one was at the counter. 2 Servers saw me but ignored me. I waited and waited and waited. There was a carry out bag sitting there and I took it upon myself to check... More

This is one of the better Bob Evans and one of the busiest! Located just off the PA Turnpike it serevs as a stopping point for travelers. The menu has many choices and breakfast is always available. Kept clean and in good order this is a reliable stop for many. The Pot Roast Sandwich is always good and I enjoyed... More

Stopped in at this Bob Evans on the way to get on I-70 to head to Maryland. There were at most five other cars in the parking lot, and now I understand why. I ordered a breakfast which consisted of "scrambled" eggs, home fries, chocolate chip pancakes, and bacon, with hot chocolate to drink. The hot chocolate had a layer... More
