We asked to hotel to direct us to a non chain restaurant ansd this was it. Although it is in a travel plaza everything was good. Food was hot,and out to the table quickly. As others have written here, Gateway Restaurant is a truck stop with a family style restaurant and you won’t find anything fancy here. Had lunch here on December 12th on our way to Virginia. Although you can order off the menu, I don't recommend that if you are traveling and are at all time constrained.... as the kitchen can be somewhat slow. Nothing special, but an okay place to get a hot meal.

We had a variety of burgers and sandwiches and sides, and everyone seemed happy with what they got, plus the prices were reasonable and the service was good. So I was gonna go with 4 stars.
