Description: Best restaurant in Bradford PA. In an incredibly renovated, old, red sandstone Carnegie library. I've been there several times and would like to write a review. Just East of Allegheny National Forest.

Service was excellent, the old library building was beautiful, and the food was great. I had a beef sandwich and baked beans and both were very good.

On a business trip to Bradford I just stopped someone on the street and asked about where to eat. They said Beefeater's. After I tried it, I agree. The beef was tender and the sides delicious. Service and ambiance excellence. I will definitely return on my next trip.

I heard that some say Beefeaters is the “best restaurant in Bradford”, so my wife and I brought our appetites after a long drive up here. I only saw street parking, but we arrived after dark. The building is large and stately, as it was the town former Andrew Carnegie library that was built in 1900. There is a nice... More

We had a business dinner for out of town guests and our group had a wide range of requests for the waitress. She was able to accommodate all of the requests and the Kitchen staff did a wonderful job preparing the food. Everyone had a wonderful meal and commented on the beauty of the restaurant and the interior décor of... More

Beefeaters, never had a bad time, bad atmosphere, or distasteful foods...this restaurant knows what their customers like. For many who lives down South, having a Beef on Weck is something to truly enjoy.

We read the reviews and decided to try it. The woodwork of the old Carnegie Library WAS gorgeous , the 26 foot high ceilings caused it to be fairly loud but the food and service were super! My husband is a steak eater and claims he has Never had better prime rib. For me, the seared Ahi was as delicious... More

Dining room is an old library so while it feels historic it feels barn like due to huge height. Server was friendly but not overly attentive, beef dishes were nice but a plate turned up with literally beef only on it and sides separate - they don't go in for presentation here. I'm from Alberta so let's say the beef... More

The ambiance of this place is great because it's in a historic library building and the owners have done amazing things with it. They hadn't updated the pricing on the menu at the door so the actual pricing was $1.00 more per item on the actual menu presented to diners. The biggest issue for me was the haddock with crabmeat...
