Very Nice!!

I have two or three business lunches there now. The food, the atmosphere, the service is always amazing. Never a bad experience. Always a helpful staff. Nice little bar for drinks before dinner.

This nice place (old library ) served really good meat and other foods. However , either the place is too big for so few servers or we just had a bad day. We waited more than 5 mins to be seated , our waitress forgot about us several times and we got the feeling they can't take care of all... More

I had heard about this place for a while and was very excited to eat here. The place is decorated very nice, but someplace you could still feel comfortable in jeans. The service was amazing and the food was great. I also really enjoyed reading the articles on the table about Bradford, PA and reading about how the place used... More

The restaurant is a very interesting place. They have done an excellent job converting the old building from a library to the restaurant. I loved all of the wood trim that they saved and the Victorian decor. We went during the Christmas season so there was some Holiday decoration up. Looked very festive. I was not impressed at first, we... More

GREAT food. Amazing Beef on Wic. Fantastic Chicken Parm. Seafood, a little bit of something for everyone. The atmosphere is great with a lively bar, high tinned ceilings and a wonderful staff. Ate here on many trips into Bradford and enjoyed every visit.

Enjoyed this place, although it is not accessible. People with walking problems would not make it up the steps and I saw no elevator. The atmosphere was lovely, as it is the former library and the wood work was wonderful. I was seated right away as I waited for a friend. Wine was good; service was friendly. The beef dish... More

I have been eating in the Beefeater on s Thursday evening. First I thought about eating beef, but the selection was limited so I decided to take the special a seafood platter. And it was okay what was on the table. Crab legs , scallops, cod, shrimps and potatoes with garlic. I would recommend some sauces that go with that... More

Atmosphere is great and the food is good The beef on Wic is a regional speciality and need to try it. The setting is unique in an old Carnegie Library.

I had traditional beef on weck and my wife had an open-faced beef sandwich with gravy and mashed potatoes. The wait for the check was long, but otherwise was a nice lunch in a historic building (the old library).

Food was far from impressive. I had their salmon and rice pilaf with vegetables. The salmon was incredibly dry. It tasted like a frozen piece you buy in the freezer aisle of a grocery store. The Pilaf was plain rice with no distinguishable flavor. And the vegetables was a side of steamed broccoli that had been nuked within an inch... More
