One of the best cheesesteaks I have ever eaten and trust me I have eaten many in my life. Forget those places in South Philly and try of one there steaks. Simply excellent!

I've been going to Pudge's since I was old enough to chew my first cheesesteak. Although I may be a bit partial, I do believe their cheesesteaks are the best around. The portions are huge and the preparations is always the same-- individual and personal, not commercial. What makes these cheesesteaks the best is the bread. When I was a... More

Want a great cheesesteak? Simple, just go to Pudges. High quality beef, generous portions, and very friendly staff. You simply can't go wrong. Also great fries, and their hoagies are also very good.

If you have an unlimited caloric intake capability and a hunger for the celebrated Philadelphia cheesesteak, this is the place to fill your craving and your adult minimal daily requirement of carbs and cholesterol. Fast service, custom orders, great rolls and of course great filling. Guaranteed you won't leave hungry. I usually enjoy it better both during and after the... More

My chance had finally come! "I get to try Pudges legendary cheesesteaks! Yay!" So happy! Such anticipation! I couldn't wait! "Hi! I'm here to place my order!" Well, the proverbial pin in the balloon started with the person that took my order, who made it clear she wanted to do anything else but. Oh, well. "She's having a bad day,"... More

We've only ordered hoagies, cheesesteaks and fries and they've all been super tasty. The steaks are meaty (unlike others in the area), fresh, and the bread the way it should be. Their hoagies are also substantial. The hot pepper relish is a must have condiment. Yum!!

I stopped by Pudge's last Saturday for a cheese steak. This was my first visit to their new digs which is 500 yards north of their old location on Rt 202. The menus are laminated to the table tops. Their offerings are more extensive than what I remember. What has't changed is the size of their steak sandwiches-HUGE. I ordered... More

Last week, my husband and I had a great cheesesteak sandwich at Pudge's. The restaurant is in a small shopping center, but easy to find. We found the restaurant clean and our waitress was so friendly and helpful. There's a wide array of selections. We ordered the large size and divided it as well as the fries as we had... More

I grew up in South Philly where you'll find the best steaks and hoagies, NOT Pat's or Geno's, IMO. I drive by Pudge's a few times a week. Once in awhile I'd pickup the awesome smell of the Steaks when driving by. One day I just had to go in. This place does a nice job, the rolls and steak... More

My husband and I were in PA on vacation and I suggested that we make the trip to Pudge's on our way home, even though it was an hour out of our way. What a mistake! A little background story: When I first met my husband, 12 years ago, he told me all about "THE BEST" sandwich ever. Everything was... More
