Hometown breakfast

Visited Town Hall for breakfast (as I do often) and had a wonderful meal. The hometown feel of the restaurant is wonderful. The food is delicious and plentiful. I had a bagel with cream cheese and a side of scrapple. My family of four all ate breakfast for under $25!

Wanted to try this place while in the area. The food was just so-so but the service was really slow. But that was just for us. Regulars were waited on when they walked in. This isn't the first time we have run into this in this area. I guess they just want us to leave our money and then leave.

This is one of those places that just gets it! It might be a local gathering place but when you get there you feel right at home. I eat breakfast in restaurants all over Pennsylvania and this is probably the best- weather you're having an omelette with all the fixins' or even oatmeal with fresh blueberries!! I get there whenever... More

Hubby and I passed this establishment many times before venturing in. FINALLY we stopped. Now it is a required stop when we are in the area. We have only had dinner here due to timing of our day. This food reminds me of my mothers cookin' I usually get the roast beef with stuffing, mashed potatoes and another side of choice.Most... More

Locals like to go to Town Hall for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Stopped for dinner during the Blue Ball Cruise event. Restaurant had steady flow of customers. Service was fast and food was big portions and very good.

My daughter recommended it to me for a coffee hangout. Not only is the coffee is good but breakfast and lunch were delicious. Enjoyed mingling with the locals. The atmosphere is very happy among the customers and staff. It's apparently a favorite among the locals. I visited three days straight and enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Felt welcomed even though... More

Before we called this a regular stop, we must have driven right by hundreds of times on the way to or from somewhere else. Often on the way to lunch or dinner, never even considering it an option. Once, very hungry - we decided to give it a try - and now we laugh about some of the unfamiliar "specials"... More

Have lunch for the first time and at first glance the prices were a step back in time. Just know that many things are a la carte. I had roast beef sandwich on toast and was offered Cole slaw (sure!) and French fries (sure!)...did not come with sandwich. Add on ice tea. Same thing with my husband's tiny hamburger. $21... More

We took friends for a drive around Lancaster co and were on our way to another restaurant when we passed by the Town Hall restaurant. I just finished reading about them in Philadelphia Magazine and quickly decided to try a meal here. Best decision in a while. Corn chicken pie was the special with two sides. I had fried chicken...
