We have been visiting Bloomsburg for the last 32 years and have eaten at many resturants there. We wanted to try something different so we looked up on the internet and found this one. All the reviews were good. We went for our anniversary dinner on Saturday, we had the Lobster Ravioli, it was excellent! The place doesn't look like... More

Taste of Italy is a wonderful place to enjoy the company of your dinning companions. It is not overly fast but the food is delicious and the atmosphere is great. The menu is not extensive but it has wonderful selections..

Bloomsburg is a college town with a lot of casual dining but few restaurants fit for foodies, with a couple exceptions. A Taste of Italy has good food with twists on traditional Italian recipes at fair prices. We would recommend this restaurant.

My husband and I took a mini vacation for a couple of days over 31 July till 2 August. We ate dinner here on Thursday 31 July. If you don't know where it is you could drive right by,which we did. It looks like not much on the outside due to being in a small strip mall. All we can... More

Had a large business dinner last week at this nice little restaurant. Our entire party of 16 thought the food and service was incredible. Notable items we loved were the Sea Bass, scallops, veal and pork chops. They served a great selection of cheese, cured meat, rolled eggplant, stuff mushrooms and calamari to us before dinner. Nice selection of Italian... More

If you want true Italian mom and pop food then you don't want to miss this place. The chef/owner is very accommodating. The service is great and atmosphere lovely. We have been here several times, not as much as we would like, but we took a party of 15 and ever single person was extremely pleased. A must try for... More

What a pleasant surprise. We went there with friends when were back in the area for a wedding. Unpretentious location in a strip mall but wonderful Italian food, starting with the freshly warmed bread. My wife had the halibut and I had a gigantic stuffed pork chop with a nice marsalla sauce and musrooms. I think I could have gotten... More

My family and I go there a couple times a year. Some of the waitstaff seemed pretty young and not too experienced. The food is excellent every time we go. It's very crowded in there! The way the tables are, sometimes you can't pull your chair out Bc of the person stacked behind you. Wish it had a little more... More

I don't get to go here as often as I'd like to, but it's a great place! You'll truly enjoy it! I grew up in NJ and it's difficult to find a really good Italian restaurant. This one hits the nail on the head!

We save as much as we can so that we can visit Europe during our summers off from teaching, and we are always delighted that we can experience some of the same fine cuisine at A Taste of Italy as we have eaten abroad. As we savor our meals, we relive memories of our trips, since food is such a... More
