Elegant fine dining in Bloomsburg

This is a fine dining restaurant on the grounds of the Inn at Turkey Hill. The food, service, and ambience are first rate. Maybe a bit too formal and somber for some guests, but it suits us well. The menu is American with a clear emphasis on local produce and ingredients. Very comprehensive and... read more

Last year we absolutely adored the chef’s tasting menu at this restaurant, so we were apprehensive once we heard there was a new chef. But have no fear: the food is just as good, if not better. The avocado, basil and tomato bruschetta were a real hit as a starter, and we also enjoyed the crab cakes (which were very... More

Friendly staff, although understaffed, waitress was taking orders, bringing drinks & cleaning tables, she was definetely overwhelmed, food and drinks came lukewarm. salad was good however the croutons in it were BURNT. This is unacceptable for a restaurant, don't put them in then. The restaurant has potentional, needs more staff, someone to help the server at busy times and someone... More

The quality of some of the food was top notch. This restaurant needs someone who knows how to properly cook it. The large, plump shrimp were not cooked all the way through (and I prefer slightly undercooked seafood) and portions of the bacon they were wrapped in was raw. Likewise for the Chilean sea bass. The outside of the large... More

Expected a first class 'fine dining' experience. Disappointed overall. Beautiful place with lovely view. Acoustics terrible...could barely have a conversation. They did not have our cocktail choices; requested lime...received lemon; reheated appetizer not hot; bisque was watery; mashed potato part cool, part hot; husband's sea bass raw in the center. On the positive side, my duck was delicious as was... More

This place is just wonderful. Such a lovely room, and a dining room that feels like eating in a greenhouse. We loved the Brewery next door. Good beer. We were there for just one night, celebrating my birthday, but we would definitely return!

New menu and new head chef- it is dreamy and wonderful. We've been going to the Inn for decades but we really enjoyed our last visit. The scallops were incredible and perfect. The desserts were ridiculous! A 100% well done. Our ol' favorite waiter was a fantastic reminder of why we LOVE GOING HERE! Thank you Turkey Hill.

We met friends that we did not see for some time. It was a very relaxing dinner and it was not rushed so we were able to catch up. The newer menu was excellent as well as the service. We certainly will not hesitate to recommend the Inn to others.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Farmhouse at Turkey Hill. It is a charming restaurant and the food was outstanding. Had the special, Lamb Shanks and Scallops baked in a delicious mushroom sauce. The service is impeccable - water refilled many times, waiter very attentive. The setting is delightful, a beautifully landscaped pond with waterfall, gazebo. We were... More
