Dinner was terrific - the filet was done perfectly with green beans that were the best I have ever tasted and mashed red potatoes. My husbands ribeye had a Cajun rub and sauce that was excellent. Dessert was a bit disappointing in terms of the selection of items and the tastiest looking dessert was sold out. The lemon berry dessert... More

I had high expectations for the restaurant at the Inn at Turkey Hill, but came away with mixed feelings, slightly disappointed all things considered. The atmosphere is lovely, there are small dining rooms scattered throughout the property, many with a fireplace, and the tables were set beautifully. We dined here the weekend after Thanksgiving, and it was a cozy and... More

The Farmhouse has a history of excellent cuisine. The newer menu includes a good wine selection and lots of small plates. The traditional entrees are the best, and desserts are always interesting.

It's great that the Farmhouse sources local ingredients and uses local merchants. Unfortunately, it doesn't matter where your ingredients come from if you can't transform them into food that is worth going out of one's way to eat. The building is lovely, and the atmosphere is beautiful. I've noticed others complain about the acoustics and in my experience, they do... More

We stayed at the Inn one year ago and raved about the meal we enjoyed in their Farmhouse restaurant. This year's dining experience, while very good, fell somewhat short of our expectations. The menu offered less unique selections - but what we ordered was well-prepared. We started our meal with Pancetta-wrapped Shrimp served w/ Bar-B-Q sauce which were tasty followed... More

We ate at the Farmhouse the evening of our 30th wedding anniversary and were very pleased. My husband had the grouper and I had the Pittsburgh filet mignon. Both were delicious. We also had the scallop appetizer and a pear tart for dessert. Our waiters Giles and Conner were attentive and friendly. The bartender made a great bourbon peach iced... More

Delicious food in a warm and friendly environment. Absolute the best mashed potatoes we have ever had! Can't wait to travel back out here to share another meal with my family.

This is a fine dining restaurant on the grounds of the Inn at Turkey Hill. The food, service, and ambience are first rate. Maybe a bit too formal and somber for some guests, but it suits us well. The menu is American with a clear emphasis on local produce and ingredients. Very comprehensive and well balanced options. Please not that... More

Last year we absolutely adored the chef’s tasting menu at this restaurant, so we were apprehensive once we heard there was a new chef. But have no fear: the food is just as good, if not better. The avocado, basil and tomato bruschetta were a real hit as a starter, and we also enjoyed the crab cakes (which were very... More
