Satisfied 1st Time Customer

Difficult to get in touch with. Not prompt in returning phone calls. When I was about to book dinner in another restaurant, Nate returned the call. We were a group of 20 diners on Jan. 9. Because of the number, I had to submit the order two hours before our specified dinner time. Food was good... read more

Took my wife there for lunch on a Sunday in December. It was not crowded but seemed to take forever to get drinks and food. I had mozzarella stick to start and they were not that flavorful for almost $6.00. I also got the Bacon cheese steak for $9.00 and it did not come with fries or chips. $9.00 for... More

We entered a very chilly dining room on a busy Saturday evening. Long Island iced teas were pricey at $8.50. Complimentary salads were an after thought with huge pieces of romaine and done sliced onions with croutons. Poppyseed dressing was very good. Cold bread also accompanied the meal. My crabcakes were just on but the garlic mashed potatoes very good.... More

Standard bar food served.Atmosphere dreary.Has been taken over by new owners in the past few years and no improvements have been made.Major perk is that it is located near Pocono International Raceway.Certainly not a place to take someone on a first date.

If you like burgers this is your average place to go. I counted 10 fries with my burger and fries. Fish on a bun was just a frozen piece of breaded fish, not the real thing. Great if you just want to drink at the bar but wouldn't really recommend to eat here. Doesn't meet my expectations.

Stopped in the lot around 12 and it was empty and the restaurant didn't look appealing from the outside so we decided to drive down the road and check out the area. Most places had no cars so figured Tripadvisor rarely let's us down so we decided to give it a go. Once you go in it is a nicely... More

I selected Woody's based on the reviews and the fact that there are a limited number of restaurants in the area. I chose one of the $10. early bird meal deals and the steak was tough and chewy. ( That's what I get for the price). My husband chose two entree's that were not available, and the restaurant was also... More

We were on vacation and stopped here for dinner one night. Food was great and our server (Cray?) hope I spelled her name correctly was fantastic. She went above and beyond to make sure we were all taken care of. :-)

Not much to look at from the outside, or even inside, but food is amazing and local beer is great! The dining area reminded me of a 1950s roadside truck stop. But, it is true Americana and the service is friendly and sincere.
