Fun place

Rustic, local, low-key. Check your mood and chill out. Sweet back deck and a pool. Watch out for bears. Drink a Troeg's.

In two visits, I had good salads, one [poor quality] end-cut prime rib, and one tasteless fetuccini alfredo drowned in sauce. In those same two visits, service was excellent the first time and terrible the second time. It is unfortunate that this restaurant is so close to Pocono International Raceway which beings them a steady stream of customers due to... More

We had great Angus hamburgers & onion rings. Excellent! Prices on menu of fancier dinners seemed a bit high. Good service, friendly staff.

This was recommended by the hotel and we really expected just to find pub fare. But, we found one of the tastiest and leanest New York strips cooked to perfection along with friendly service and great people around. The only disappointment was that we were only in the area long enough for one dinner. It's a great friendly, local crowd.... More

Drove past this a few times! This place came as a recommendation. We walked in the door to a bar. The server suggested we sit outside, a huge outdoor dining area with a pool that was in the middle of outdoor area. Really great prices. Food is all pub style but made the old fashioned way. Everything was great and... More

It's right on Rte 115 south of I80. It's not much for decoration or atmosphere, but the food is good, reasonable prices and service is friendly. They have good burgers and a nice garden view from the terrace.

Had dinner here on a business trip and it was a very nice experience, the people were friendly and the food was good. I would definitely go back on my next trip to town.

We were in the area for a soccer tournament over Memorial Day weekend. Kids originally wanted Red Robin, but they said they would not be able to accommodate all of us. We had 13 teenagers plus their parents and thought this would be the case for all restaurants. Thank goodness for Murphy's Loft (listed in the hotel directory). When one... More

This is a old building, log cabin or redneck feeling. Fits right in for nascar. This is not my first choice but there is not a lot around to eat at after the track day. The food was par plus but not to die for. It is a bar menu. I had a turkey club which I really enjoyed one... More

We called ahead to see what this place was about and it sounded charming. Upon arriving, it's a dingy bar inside a old log cabin lodge with modest seating arrangements. The staff ignored us for several minutes after we were seated, and when a waitress did arrive, she went to a table that had just entered and didn't even glance... More
