I thought the food was very good. The waitresses were friendly. We had 27 people eating in our group. Family style dining is fun.

Always stopped there many years ago with children. Now too high priced! Spoiled a legendary stopping place.

Best Shoefly Pie in town! Lots of other varieties of baked goods, as well as a lunch menu. I wish I lived closer!

We went in looking for what we don't eat at home, buttery, fried goodness, and that is just what we got! We ate off the menu, not sharing plates with people I don't know, the bread on the table as a starter was awesome, the whipped butter & apple butter were amazing! 1st day we had fried chicken and a... I was recommended to eat here by family who stays in Lancaster regularly. M'Lady and I chose to eat in the regular style dining section as we are not exactly social butterflies (most people eat all together at one big table with other strangers "family style"). I will say that I was informed that the better food and experience was... More

We have visited the Lancaster area for the past four years and this was the first time we have tried this restaurant. They have either buffet or a la cart. We chose the order off the menu. As it's name implies, there is plenty of food and it is very good. Should have named the place Very good and plenty.... More

My self, my wife, my daughter and 3 grand children (9, 9, & 5) cost $96 + $20 Tip. A "Family-Style" sitting - Tables sit 12 and they wait until the table is full before serving, although there is white and whole-wheat bread and various dips (butter, apple butter, shreaded meat, cottage cheese) on the table as appetizers while waiting.... We have been going to this restaurant located in the beautiful Lancaster, Pa. area for years. This time I was a little disappointed. They always had very good roast beef, fried chicken, sausage, noodles etc. This time the meal included some kind of beef burgundy and the noodles were not as I remembered. They do give you good bread, chow... More
