Farm To Table Since 1959. Amos, Ben, Manny and Elmer, are our Amish neighbors who supply us with sweet corn, tomatoes, watermelon, cabbage, broccoli, squash, peppers and onions, and have helped us go from "farm to table" for over 50 years. Plain & Fancy is home to Lancaster County PA's original Amish Farm Feast. This full course, pass-the-platter dinner includes appetizers, entrees, sides, breads, desserts and beverages. Or, sit at your own private table and select from our a la carte menu.

This was a great place to eat! The fried chicken was the best. We ordered from menu but they also have the all you can eat part where they bring the food to you! My husband would have loved this but we had just got into town and was not really that hungry.

This family style restaurant has all the nearby restaurants beat! Excellent service along with delicious and perfectly prepared food make this the perfect place to eat. Whether you choose the family style feast or the private table dining, the food is the same and you will not be disappointed. After a delicious meal, take a moment to stroll around the... More

The family we ate with had children that had NO MANNERS! The older child was allowed to lick his plate and lick his palms. He then dipped food with the utensils that everyone was supposed to share! He placed his fingers in the food, ate with his fingers, and picked items out of the food from the serving containers! This... More

There are two dining options when you come to Plain & Fancy. First, you can have their Amish Feast, which is served family style (unless you have a large party, you will most likely be sharing a table and food with other customers) or the ala carte (you order single portions off of their menu). We chose the Amish Feast.... More

My wife and I stayed at the Amishview Inn and Suites and ate at the Plain and Fancy Farm & Dining Room, which is right on the premises. A discount for the restaurant is given to guests of the hotel. You can choose to eat family style or a la carte. We ate family style, which I believe is the... More

Staff attitude was a turnoff. We ended up there at 8 p.m and were told they closed to patrons except in the gift shop. They told us we could take out though. We ordered a shared platter but when we arrived at the hotel we realized they had said would be appropriate for a family was really enough for two... More

We went to the restaurant to have a taste of Amish food. My husband decided to try their Amish Farm Feast, after watching Man vs. Food on the Travel Channel. Basically it is all you can eat appetizers, entrees and desserts like a buffet, except that there is no buffet line. Your waiter would refill all the food for you.... More
