Four of us visited about 6:30 on Thursday evening. After a short wait we were seated and attentively cared for. All the help was friendly although very busy. The food was very good and plentiful. We got the all you can eat chicken pot pie that came with the salad bar for under 9 bucks. This is a very large... More

We rate this as one of the best places to eat we have ever been to. We ate breakfast here four mornings and never went away hungry. Loved the grits and sos (which I hadn't had since the late 60's in the Army) and sticky buns. Tried scrapple but we didn't care for that. Wide variety of breakfast items including... More

A great variety of food. The service was organized and the staff friendly. I had never had some of the choices and tried them they were great! The staff was so friendly and nice and really seemed to care about their guests. I would definitely suggest this family style restaurant.

the smorgasbord was outstanding / lots of variety on food from Salad to Desserts. A little steep on the price but what the hell you only live once why not enjoy

We did the breakfast smorgasborg and it was one of the best I have ever had. There is everything that you can imagine. My personnal favorite was the pecan topped french toast casserole. Simply the best I have ever had. I would highly recommend this smorgasborg to everyone!

We went here for dinner but because it was so crowded the wait for the dining room would have been 30 minutes. We opted instead to sit at the counter. You can order off the same menu as the dining room, including the smorgasbord. We chose to go with soup and sandwich and everything was very fresh. The service was... More

As buffets go this one offered a good selection of tasty food. Place was clean and staff friendly and helpful. Only complaint was that the green beans were under cooked .

Went to Lancaster, Pa for a couple of days. Love this time of year at Kitchen Kettle Village. Went to dinner at Bird-in-HandRestaurant. Very disappointing. Had the turkey dinner. I expected cranberry sauce as part of dinner. You got to pick two sides. Also under the dark turkey meat was pieces of shredded turkey. Dinner was not served very hot.... More

I've been to several smorgasbord type places of this sort but this was so much better than most. The soup was so good. I had the chicken corn chowder and my husband had the creamy cauliflower. ...both excellent. Service was great as well.
