We stayed at the Village Inn nearby and wanted to stay in the area so we tried this restaurant for lunch. We ate off the menu which we found the prices very reasonable. I had a bowl of beef vegetable which was more like a stew,, and wife had a side salad. We split a turkey club. A lot of... More

I have been going there for years with my family. Get out that way once or twice a year. Have had breakfast, lunches and dinners there. I feel that it has started to go down hill. The food was not as good as it used to be, less variety and some of the hot food was actually cold. The worst... More

Just visited again today and have been here many times in the past. All meals are served hot right out of the kitchen, and, as you will see, most are made from scratch. A rare find in a glorified diner type setting. Have never had a bad meal here and all pricing won't hurt your wallet. (Try the fried chicken... More

Had lunch here on Saturday and decided to have the smorgasbord. The fried chicken and pork in saurkraut were great. Other stuff was good not great. Lots of choices and had a great waitress Linda Smoker.

We came here because the other local smorgasbord had a 2h wait and everything else was closed. It was about $20 a person for the buffet. The food itself was good, but not the best I've had in the area. They had the typical PA Dutch style food, but the selection was a bit less than I expected. The desserts... More

Great food, clean, and awesome service!! Our waiter, Justin, was super friendly, quick on his service, and gave us tons of suggestions for local attractions! Ask to be seated in his area!!!!

My family ordered off the menu as the smorgesbord is almost $20 per person. While that might be the going rate for tourist meals it is out of line for the quality and experience. For this price I would expect fine china with elegant place setting and soft lighting/music and top quality ingredients. Between us we had the vegetable plate... More

The food is delish and the service is friendly. The buffet offers a great selection at a reasonable price. Don't miss out on this when you are in the area!

We go for the breakfast Smorgasboard. Great variety and always fresh and hot. Variety is normal breakfast items and those appropriate to the area.

Again, it depends on what you are looking for on whether or not a specific restaurant is perfect or a perfect disaster. For what we were looking for on a June morning, this restaurant was perfect. My husband wanted a simple breakfast that he could order off the menu. I wanted to spend a little time outside of the metropolitan... More
