My husband can't stop talking about the cheese plate. Service was excellent. We got to sit on the comfy couch area which was perfect for the three kids. Fries are great. Mushroom soup and tomato bisque were delicious.

Eating vegetarian, I enjoyed the thick mushroom soup, and the black bean burger. My husband liked the chili which is listed as an appetizer, but is really a meal. He especially liked shoe-fly pie, which isn't available at many restaurants. The fish and chips was a good presentation at another meal. About half of the customers at lunch were staying... More

We were here as part of a large group in one of the side rooms. The food was delicious and I would rate it highly, but the service was slow and inattentive, and they added 21% auto gratuity. We had a great time, but it was more the company than anything.

We stood at the bar for over 5 minutes just waitng for the bar staff to acknowledge us. As a former bartender, I know what it is like to work a busy bar - if you can't help a customer immediately, at least make eye contact, if nothing else to let them know that they are on your list.

We were seated in a lovely window area overlooking spectacular Autumnal scenery - had to move to a far back corner because we chose not to dine and swat the half dozen flies pestering us. The food was good, had to ask for refill on water. Lobster Mac & Cheese looked delicious - others were enjoying and even chose to... More

Was by myself so I sat at the bar and ordered some dinner while I watched a football game. Food was excellent and bartender friendly. Very good Service

Have eaten here several times now ... the food is consistently good (don't pass up the chef's lobster mac 'n cheese!), burgers are popular (I am not a burger fan, but companions say they're good), drinks are well made. However, physically it is not a particularly comfortable place to eat. Straight ladder-back chairs, some club chairs around low tables, not... More

The Tavern has an interesting, multi-level layout. The décor is charming. The food was good but expensive. There were several large groups at the hotel the weekend I was there and everyone was friendly and mingled in the Tavern later into the night.

The food here is acceptable and the atmosphere is comfortable and cosy. I had some horrible food there and some really great food. The nachos were kind of disgusting, but the lobster cobb salad with tarragon vinaigrette was good. Service was good.
