a little pricey but very good

The title pretty much says it all. Very good food -- we tried 5 or 6 things, really liked them all. Decent value for the money. If it could be a little cheaper, I'd give it a 5th star. Definitely worth a visit unless you just want cheap eats.

I guess if you are into all organic food and willing to pay the higher price this might be an ok place for you. We visited Tuesday 4/7/15 over the lunch hour. There were maybe half dozen people in the large dining room. The atmosphere was old world charm, paint spattered floor, scuffed up tables. The waitress was very friendly... More

Wow! Driving from nj to pittsbugh. Found on a search and needed to feed this family of 5. If you've ever done this drive you'll know that choices for quality food are slim to none for many miles! First off, the establishment has a rustic log cabin feel. Great fire place with hand finished wood tables ..cozy lighting..casual and pretty.... More

Many a miles I have spent along the PA Turnpike, but this time I purposely got off to in search of local fare. We hit the jackpot with a warm, cozy space in January. Open kitchen allowing us to see all the yummy preparations. The service was warm and friendly, with a varied menu that allowed us to sample many... More

We were staying at the Bedford Springs Resort (Omni) and decided to eat our Valentines dinner outside the resort as we have a 2 1/2 year old and thought it would be more relaxed. What a find! This place has such a natural down-home appeal yet a culinary sophistication that Bedford so needed. It has a rustic inside from a... More

On our first visit to Bedford this place is one major reason for wanting to come back! We came for brunch and enjoyed the prompt, friendly service, fresh, hot food (love supporting their farm to table philosophy), and nice menu. Definitely looking forward to our next visit to try their dinner menu.

What a terrific meal in a beautiful setting. Ensconced by the fire on a cold fall evening we had a hard time choosing. The menu changes daily with almost everything made from their own or local ingredients. We ended up setting on the pizzas which were awesome. Just the right amount of char from the wood fired oven. Wonderful, thoughtful... More

Gorgeous place, fireplace, the food was simply amazing, fast and they have great detail on the food. All local. The pizza was super great. Steak was delish. We can't say anymore good things. Oh, and dessert. Yes!
