My wife had ribs & I had sausage gravy + biscuits. In both cases the food was more than we were able to eat. Bless her, she said my ribs were better, but still were very good. I loved the sausage gravy. Medium size loaf of bread complimentary was very tasty. Service was acceptable but not great. Prices were comparable,... More

On a recent trip to Bedford, we stopped into the Bedford Diner for its Friday Fish Fry. I can't wait to do so again when we make our annual trip next August to Bedford. It's all-you-can-eat, and they make the fish fresh -- it's not sitting waiting for you. It's pollock, and so tasty I'm salivating thinking about it. This... More

We had two breakfasts at the Bedford Diner during our recent three day stay at the Omni Bedford Springs. Both were pretty good but the value and service were terrific. We had a veggie omelet, blueberry pancakes, turkey sausage, and bacon. All were well prepared. But it is the prices and service that makes this a worthwhile stop. Probably the... More

My wife and I stopped here for lunch, as it was located right off the expressway. There are not many choices for lunch in this area. Bedford Diner is located near Route 220 and it's surrounded by chain restaurants. The atmosphere was your classic diner. We both ordered their bbq rib lunch special. The ribs were very smoky, the meat... More

Right when we went in, we were greeted by a young beautiful lady, with a dazzling smile, whom lead us to our seats. We order, got our meals and were swarmed with flies. As our food came it, it was cold, and was not particularly everything we order, however, due to a tight scheduled, we couldn't wait. As we watched... More

The Bedford Diner may well need a facelift. (And, if they could afford one, it would -- I'm sure -- help their business.) But the food is terrific, and the waitstaff is super. I highly recommend the Friday fish fry and any dessert. Surprisingly, the 12 oz steak ordered by the teen boy in our party was also very good.... More

We stopped in at this little diner as a recommendation from hotel staff. The prices were good, and the food was tasty also. The restroom was clean and the staff was attentive and friendly. We all ordered the 2.22 and my husband got the veggie omelet. Eveyone was pleased with their meals :)

Again I wish TA had a good category instead of average. I would not say this is very good food. Our waitress was wonderful. We just wanted omelets and they were good and plentiful and very reasonably priced. We were not offered refills. She did come over and ask if everything was ok. The only problem with the diner was... This place was a real find! I only wish we had been able to eat here more than one breakfast. We had stopped in Bedford overnight on the way home from a 10 day vacation. The hotel we stayed in was not offering their customary complimentary breakfast due to remodeling. So, we (3 middle aged couples) started out to find... More

What you would Expect of a diner as far as food, good but not memorable. But The service was exceptional. Very honest as to what is fresh and what is not. Substitutions? No problem. Homemade desserts. Skip the mashed potatoes for now, but they are working on getting them fresh made.
