The food is great and not far from the Pike. This is what Bedford needed for years. close motels and fine dining with great drinks.

Have been here several times, both for group meals and solo. The regular menu is what you would expect for a small town steak house. I have twice ordered steak medium rare and received it medium. The inside has been partially redecorated and there is a nice dining area with booths and tables and hardwood floor. The larger eating area,... More

My wife and daughter and I were trying to find a place for me to go for dinner for my birthday, I was thinking about Hoss`s and I was looking at reviews for places in Bedford. I saw what people were saying about Eds and some were not good. But I thought I will never know unless I give it... More

We were meeting another couple for Friday night dinner, and arrived ahead of them. That gave us the opportunity to observe what was far from an efficient system of seating customers who were waiting for a table. When out friends arrived, we were actually seated quickly. From the beginning, it was obvious our server was either extremely overworked, or extremely... More

When traveling we look for easy on easy off so we took a chance on Ed's. The entrance is friendly with little gift finds for the traveler. Heather was an excellent server and our meal came quickly. The broiled chops were moist. The potatoes were real. The Macaroni and Cheese was yummy and the Stewed Tomatoes were tasty sweet. No... More

as noted in other reviews, powdered mashed potato [whether garlic or not], uneven cooking [some well done, some rare], disinterested service. the owner was supporting a wall near cash register & barely acknowledged us -- and certainly didn't ask how everything was or whether we enjoyed it-- not even "thanks for patronizing us."

Tuesday evening, arrived at 6:25pm. Waited 5 minutes before manager came over to take drink order. Five minutes later, waitress Mandy came over to complain that she was working in the coffee bar area and she doesn't understand why she had to wait on us too, but she's happy to do it. That, friends, should have been our cue to... More

Stopped for Sunday morning breakfast on way south. Very friendly staff, smiles, and pleasant server. Great food just as ordered. Impeccably clean facility including the restrooms. Great prices and generous portions. Highly recommend.

Chef did not know how to cook a steak, salad from a bag, potato was boiled not baked. We were at the restaurant for almost 1and 1/2 hours and left without eating dinner. This was a getaway for my husband and me very disappointing.

I had a weekend get-away planned since July and at the last minute my friend couldn't come so I was traveling alone. I ended up here for dinner on a Sunday afternoon around 4:00. I was shown to a booth in a room just off the lobby area. I was the only person in the room. I placed my drink... More
