I have been a fan of the Brighton Hot Dog Shop since I was in high school (New Brighton High School Class of 1965). The hot dogs are good, but the chili sauce is excellent!

The food is OK bit could be improved. Hot dogs could be hotter and the French fries cooked longer. My biggest concern is the staff seem annoyed to take your order. My first time there I had to look at the menu and did not order fast enough, thought it was me but later visits I saw it with other... More

We have family in Pittsburgh and also fly from Pitts airport. We ALWAYS stop - as long as the lights are on. Not the best sauce but its pretty good! Wish fries were a little thicker. As for cost - find better for cheaper? Let me know!

A recent trip through Beaver Falls had me longing for the hot dogs that we used to enjoy when we lived nearby so I popped in at a strange time for a dog and fries. There were only 3 other people in the place when I ordered (other than the wait staff) so I got full attention and quick service.... More

Thought this might be a great find. Hotdog was nothing special, chili was boring, fries were mush and terrible.

I was pleasantly surprised by the simply delicious food - a kraut dog and fries... It was delicious. The fries were made from fresh cut fries, and were cut more like a shoe string french fry than other restaurants who serve fresh cut fries, they were a really nice change of pace. The only disappointing piece were the un-cleared tables.... More

Before I moved to the Beaver Valley, I had never heard of the Brighton Hot Dog Shop, but my husband is a life time resident, and introduced me to this treasure. Now, we go on a regular basis, and have gone to almost all of the franchisee's restaurants. The quality is just as good at each one. My husbands standard order... More
