Fast and inexpensive

My wife and I go here a couple times a month for a quick meal. Very reasonable place. I wish they would give their hot sausage sandwich another chance. I really like it.

Every time we come into town to visit family we always make a trip to the hot dog shop. Since I married into the family 20 years ago we have been eating here. It has always been very good food except for the cheese fries. The first time I ate them the cheese was grainy like it was made from... More

There is a short, partially bald, fat man that does drugs before going in to work. I decided to stop and get breakfast one morning and happened to park beside this person. I noticed him smoking what looked like an e cig so I thought nothing of it. He got out of his car the same time I did and... More

Have been eating chili hot dogs since the first shoppe opened in 1959. I don't get back to Pa very often but when I do this is always on the agenda.

I frequent Hot Dog Shoppes, as does almost everyone in the area. The food is just always so good, I find myself going back over and over. I absolutely love the burgers, as well as the fries, and almost everyone I know loves their hot dogs just as much. Great place for eating with family, friends, or even alone!

This is a home town favorite and very delicious! Shakes are the best and fries are all home cut. Sunday Has table service but counter ordering the other 6 days. Staff are nice and get the orders correct 99.9% of the time - that's HUGE to me! Great place to take families!

The very FIRST that people visit when returning to the area for vacations, reunions, or simply to get together.

I've ate here a lot and never had a bad meal. Their breakfast omelets are good and filling as are all the breakfast fare. For lunch or dinner the hot dogs are so good. I always get the kraut dogs and fries. This is the only place that offers malt vinegar for the fries, love it!!! My brother swears they... More

The Hot Dog Shoppe has always provided delicious hot dogs and fries for next to nothing. Some of the locations are a bit sketchy, but it is always worth having some chili cheese dogs, a milkshake, and fries.

The locals love this place so when we moved to the area we have it a try. It was gross. The hotdogs are terrible quality and the fries are just soaked in oil.
