We have been to Chops several times with good experiences, but last night's dinner was excellent. Four of us had filet, crab cakes, salmon, and halibut. Portions were large and top-notched. Mushroom soup also. Sides of creamed spinach and lyonnaise potatoes were large and excellent. Service was as good as it gets. Room is well-appointed, but slightly noisy. Expensive. It... More

I took a friend there for a special lunch and I was sorry as it was far from special. Our waiter, Michael, was outstanding: friendly, efficient and didn't hover over us. We both ordered the steak frites which was supposed to be a rib eye. Mine was over-cooked and both mine and my friend's were more grizzle than meat. The... More

I was attending a business meeting and stayed at the Homewood Suites on City Avenue in Bala Cynwyd (Philadephia). Our group wanted to enjoy a good steak and was considering driving into the city for Ruth's Chris or the Capital Grille. The Homewood manager suggested that we go right across the street to Chops Steakhouse. The regular menu and the... More

This restaurant is close to where I live. I visit solo or with friends. Anytime I go, the service is stellar and the food is consistently good. I enjoy the Shrimp & Penne Dish as well as of course the Chops. Another thing, you can't go wrong with their choices of salad. At times it can be crowded...early dinners &... More

I've been here several times. Mostly for lunch with a large party. It has consistently been very good. I have tried several items but the crab cakes are by far my favorite. I give them an A+. The service is excellent. The wine list good. Desserts are awesome. At times it's a little noisy and the parking is tough but... More

We went to chops for my mother in law's birthday. I knew the minute I walked in the restaurant has gone down hill. The hostess was poorly dressed and the bar and restaurant was empty. My brother and I both ordered the rib eye special. His came under cooked and he sent it back. When he tasted it said it... More

This was my frist time at CHOPS. I had lunch with a friend. I can not say enough about the outstanding service the two of us received. . There were two waiters to serve our table . Our beverage glasses were never empty. The food was good . I look forward to my next visit.

One of the nicest restaurants in that area, at least that I've found. Good food, nice drink selection and great service. A bit on the pricey side.
