The food, as usual, was fine, and the menu has many tasty options to choose from. We had the baked oysters, which came attractively plated. The dinner came with accompaniments such as vegetables, and we both chose the baked potato. When the food was delivered, I only wanted butter on my potato, and the server dropped a HUGE blob of... We didnt eat dinner here, we ate breakfast both mornings we stayed here, and I have to say, it was as good as I have had anywhere. Be sure to get the bacon. If you are a bacon lover, you wont be disappointed.

If you love 1940s dining rooms and lounges, with Sunday buffets and familiar items on the menu - and enjoy having the ocean fill the windows all around - the Adobe is the place to be. Most folks I know go there for special meals like birthdays, but one or two have made it a hangout. A comfortable space and... More

Attended dinner here after reading the views are spectacular and if can agree they certainly are. That's about it in my opinion. The services was at best minimal. IE the server took the order and delivered the food. On asking the sever if they had any Prosecco the server asked what that was. If I had have asked the house... More

Pub steak was seasoned to perfection on Monday, not seasoned at all on Tuesday. The Oysters on Monday were exquisite. The chicken-free chicken in sauce in bowl of fettichini was inedible. One ambitious server did all tables. But: that Salad Bar is the Best in the Country.---The Early Bird Special 5-6 weekdays is affordable. $15. six choices: go for the... More

I dined alone because my traveling companion was at The call of the wild dog camp, I walked from the fireside where we stayed and had two meals at the Adobe. The first was the halibut fish and chips which was alright but next time I think I would definitely want to try something different. The second was their breakfast... More

We went for breakfast on a Friday morning and they were not at all busy. Our waitress was very surly and not at all friendly. We asked for a bit more Hollandaise for my friend's Benedict and were told that it was measured and they could not put more on. We said we'd be willing to pay for more and... More

In addition to the beautiful ocean views, from the the entire restaurant and lounge, the Sunday Brunch is probably one of the best for miles around. Besides the very complete buffet, they have a carving station with roast beef, roast turkey, and the best glazed baked ham ever. If that is not enough, there is an omelet station that will... More

We decided to have breakfast which had good portions of average quality food. The service was not too great since even a small request seemed to be a big deal. I asked for a bit extra gravy and was told that you get what you get because it is measured. I did get a small side dish of gravy and... More
