I stumbled upon this great restaurant while traveling up the Oregon coast. The food and coffee were fantastic! They roast their own coffee and offer an amazing menu of items made with high quality ingredients. I am vegan and normally have a difficult time finding menus which fit my diet. The Green Salmon had many choices and most were made... More

Been here three times in three days. This place was hopping every time. They were serving many varieties of coffee and tea drinks as fast as they could get people thru line. Tables can be hard to come by during a rush, so have someone in your group grab one as soon as you walk in. Nice staff. Food pretty... More

Yes, it's small and often crowded, but this place is worth standing in the line for anyone who wants outstanding coffee/tea, scrumptious pastries/bagels/breads, and generously-sized plates of fresh, beautifully prepared food. I had a "Clockwork Orange Mocha" that was heavenly, along with a strawberry-filled puff pastry twist that I smiled all the way through. Here's a hint--the two plates we... More

What a gem on 101! GREAT customer service, lovely homemade pastries and decadent coffee creations. Not the place to stop if you are in a hurry, the line is long (for good reason) because they take their time to provide excellent service to everyone. The owner gets his hands dirty with the rest of his staff, he rang us up... More

I was excited to go here from the moment we came to town. Finally hit it up the morning we were leaving and it was a disappointment. The two customers in front of us, ourselves, and one behind us all had their orders messed up. They appeared understaffed which is unfortunate (but it just happens sometimes) however I didn't hear... We tried Green Salmon on our first, second and third trips to the central Oregon Coast and Yachats. On each occasion, we left feeling uncomfortable with the atmosphere (we felt like outsiders in a private party) and the strange taste of the organic coffee. The food was never very good, though locals and other reviews here will rave about it.... More

Stopped in on a mid-morning July day. The place was bustling, but the line moved quickly. There were so many options on the chalkboard menu, that it was hard to choose! We ordered three hot drinks and two pastries to share. The pastries came out right away, and they were ok, but not the greatest. It was quite a wait... More

A funky coffee house in a funky little Oregon coast town. Great coffee, food, and atmosphere. Can sometimes be quite crowded, so be prepared. Recommended.

If you need great coffee, breakfast or lunch this is your place. I personally love Yachats anyway but this place is great. The fare is excellent, and tries for organic/locally grown and healthy while being very delicious. All up our alley when looking to dine. The atmosphere is great and if you are feeling like meeting interesting people, strike up... More
