The Green Salmon has a huge variety of coffees and hot chocolates, and the largest variety of west coast pastries - cinnamon bun, bear claw, danish, croissant. The atmosphere is very friendly, laid back and local. The staff is patient and get everything ready as fast as possible, without cutting corners. I had eggs and mushrooms (fresh) on a toasted... We read the reviews and decided to try the Green Salmon. When we first walked in the waitress did not acknowledge us, in fact helped the person in front of us and then walked away and did not come back. After a few minutes of waiting we were finally helped. Based on all the burnt pasties in the display case... More

You can't REALLY do Yachats without a visit to the Green Salmon. Serious coffee, fair trade and roasted on site will get you right. And the pastries, yumm! Go with the mango-coconut delight! Lots of folks go crazy for their lox and bagels -But my non-stop fave is the Nu-Yorka Pastrami, big enough to share with a friend. The vibe... More

Breakfast Burrito was horrible! Got our burritos to go took a bite and was a little curious. Opened the tortilla up and found out that nothing had been cut up. The round potatoes were still whole, the sausage patty was whole and had no flavor. I have never had any sort of burrito that the inside contents were not cut... More

I wish we had a coffee shop like this in Bend. Amazing coffee choices, vegan and gluten-free food options and every milk you could think of. The staff could work on their customer service though.

we went in looking for the usual breakfast, but it was a treat to do something different. I am so pleased that this little business is doing well, and successful. with local people and tourists. It does close early, tho.

My wife and I stopped here during one of the mid-morning spells when parking was available. Very nice venue and the staff were most helpful. Being chocolate people, we could not resist ordering from the list of hot chocolate varieties available (they do coffee too). Really good. We shared a very nice, large chocolate chip cookie and we plan to... More

Read a little piece in the NY Times about this place, being the best coffee on the Oregon coast. Took me almost two years to come try it out. Other than the nice woman that took my order, and the general cafe ambience, the place was a bit of a disappointment. The cappuccino was served in a giant mug, too... More

Fantastic coffee and chocolate options! Food is excellent and unique. I have eaten here numerous times and have always left happy with my choice. More of a coffee shop/cafe than restaurant but they give you plenty of food for the money spent. Free WiFi available.
