Such a nice break!

We were on a long drive down the OR coast and needed a break. We remembered Yachats from many years ago and thought we'd stop and walk around. We got lucky because there was a community Farmers' Market that Saturday morning and we spotted Bread & Roses. The pastries were very good, and had a... read more

The little lady bakes out the back and knowledgeable and personable guys serve the goodies. We had morning coffee there each day we were at the local hotel.

I can only very marginally review this restaurant. We didn't end up actually eating there. It is quaint and hip inside and out. As near as I could tell, they only had one person on duty and many tables filled. We were out for a quick bite. Quick wasn't going to happen and when we realized that a simple sandwich... More

You must not pass through the quaint town of Yachats without stopping at Bread and Roses. We stopped for breakfast, headed down the coast, and returned for a late lunch. Cinnamon rolls are our favorite, and the turkey sandwich earned high marks from my husband.

Had a latte (which was sensational!) and then hubby and I enjoyed fresh baked pastries. Quite a few things to choose from - I'm sure there was something for everyone. Hubby has the huge blueberry muffin (stuffed full with fresh blueberries) and I had a strawberry, lemon custard danish with fresh strawberries on top. As we were eating, we watched... More

After a long drive, we were really happy to find this little gem. Turkey sandwhich, potato salad, pickle and salt n vinegar chips. Added on a bottle of Coke and chocolate peanut butter oatmeal cookies. Perfect lunch. Recommend this place. Looking forward to breakfast tomorrow. ..so many pantries.

Super owners, breads, and sandwiches. It's also fun to get a sandwich to go, and take it next door to the wine shop and have lunch with vino there!

I will admit my cheap side kicked in when I saw $5 pastries and $7 sour dough bread..but then my tastes buds took over and it was worth every penny. EVERYTHING is fresh made, often with a unique twist. Try the sticks and leaves, their take on clam chowder...but don't expect it to taste like everywhere else! There is often... More

We missed this bakery on our previous trip to Yachats so were hoping they would be open while we were there. The place smells so good you know you are going to find good things. For lunch we tried the 'Sticks and Leaves' clam chowder which included more herbs and less thickening than is usually found in clam chowder but... More

I have lived in Boston, Washington, DC, Virginia, and Oregon. This little place literally had the best pastries I have ever tasted. Skip every other place in Yachats, and go here for breakfast!
