Bread and Roses has great bread and bake goods. The soups, and light meals are great. A nice, small, locally owned, place for a light meal, bread or goodies.

Wish I could tell you how terrific this place is but it's after Labor Day and hours are basically Friday through Monday. The space looks very inviting and at least four other people came to the door while We were contemplating where to go for breakfast.

Most underrated hideout in town. Good coffee and delicious treats. Staff was friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed just hanging out in this small, friendly café.

Go to this bakery/cafe if you are near Yachats! The clam chowder was the best I've ever had: a delicious creamy, herby broth; lots of clams; perfect thickness. The fresh date bar was crumbly, and flavorful, and not too sweet.

We've been lucky enough to have sampled Blythe's baking (and experienced her beautiful old English heirloom roses) for around four or five years now, starting with her small table at the Sunday Yachats Farmer's Market. Blythe is an amazing, talented and artistic baker. She uses puff pastry in several of her creations, and we are always oohing and aahing at... More

The scones and croissants are very good. Wish this place was open during the week while we were in town.

Blythe makes all her bread & desserts using the best ingredients. Casual place across from the commons so you could catch a matinee or perhaps the Sunday Farmers market before having a sandwich & dessert there.

This is a shout out to a very kind employee. We showed up at Bread and Roses past closing time. She was leaving after apparently locking up and had a bag of leftover pastries. She was kind enough to share a couple with us and would not take any payment. Quite a goodwill ambassador for Yachats. We never got her... More

Wherever your destination is, make sure that Bread & Roses is included in your itinerary. I think it's only open Friday-Monday, starting at 830am. We got there on a Friday morning at 830 and all the displays of fresh baked goods were starting to line up along the counter. They kept bringing out one after another. There were too many... More

What's not to like? My Americano was expertly crafted. Not a bitter note at all. Difficult pastry choices abound. My choices were oh so yummy. Art on the wall, fresh flowers on the tables, friendly and kind staff, bright and cheerful setting. Wish we could go back.
