Fresh caught seafood

Service is sometimes frenic during tourist season. The food makes up for it. The owner is a deep sea fisherman and knows his product. Have eaten there several times & never been disappointed. Ambiance is not an issue, you're here for the food.

It's a place I would've passed by if I hadn't been looking for it. Small, unassuming, it sits just off Hwy 101 in Yachats, OR and serves really fresh, lightly battered halibut, cod, & salmon. Or you can order it grilled. They serve burgers & tacos too, but when you're so close to the ocean that you can see it,... More

Great place for seafood. Just don't expect steaming hot food. Everything was just warm, but still tasty.

Stopped at this place for lunch while geocaching in the area. We loved sitting outside at the picnic tables listening to a band playing the oldies. Ordered halibut and chips (half-order), lemonade and chicken strips for the kid. Food arrived promptly. Halibut was perfectly lightly breaded - the right way to treat this fish. Half-order was the perfect amount for... More

Great little restaurant recommended to me by the lady at the Grocery Store. We sat outside in the tent at the picnic tables. Very rustic set up, but the fish and chips and chowder were great

It's a cute little place, and when I say little, you are basically sitting with the table next to you. Outside they have picnic tables to eat at. We weren’t sure if we had a specific waiter/waitress because we had three different people checking in with us. We tried to ask the waitress about the menu, she was far from... More

A little place with the best seafood on the coast. I can never get past the wonderful Slumgullion--a baked clam chowder with shrimp and cheese. It's the best. As long as you have stopped here, be sure to walk along the coast. Beautiful spot.

We ordered take out dinners here so that we could head to Devil's Churn and take pictures and eat there around sunset. We ordered the fried clams dinner (3 of them) and the salmon sandwich. When I called to order I was told that it would be about 20 minutes before it was ready. We got there in about 15... More

Four of us had the shrimp, scallops, halibut and cod fish and chips and ALL of us were thrilled with our lunch. A non-cole slaw person loved the coleslaw, and we all loved our sea food. The food was FRESH and perfectly cooked. Two of us opted for and enjoyed the local (Oregon) craft beer. The inside was tiny, but... More

This hole in the wall is a seafood market and restaurant. The ling cod fish and chips was fresh and flaky. We also thought the New England clam chowder was top notch. The salads are surprisingly artisanal and well put together for a fish "joint" so don't skip. You can get some of the local fresh catch on your way... More
