Luna's has great (and incredibly cute) staff serving fresh fish (they double as a fish market) prepared simply and well. We had fried scallops and halibut and grilled salmon, halibut and ling cod across a couple of visits. All were good - the halibut and salmon were outstanding. The cook will grill the fish to your desired done ness as... More

This place has super fresh fish and there is a grilling option if you don't want the grease. It is a simple fish shack and the owner catches quite a few of the menu selections himself.

Lovely food and great service in this tiny fish bar in Yachats. Fish and veggie food so both my daughter and I were happy. My three fish taco was lovely and great value. Everything is fresh and theres good a choice, well worth a stop off!

If you are looking for friendly service and a variety of fresh seafood and well-done meals, this is it. It's a small sort of hole in the wall place. We had the variety seafood platter and the bean burrito (one of the best i've had, and i've lived in central america for a long time). Would highly recommend for the... More

Loved the casual vibe of this place. The seafood was fresh and top notch. Friendly family staff as well.

We found ourselves in Yachat's of a recent Sunday afternoon and looking for food. After checking TA for reviews we settled on this little place for a relaxing meal. It turned out not to be all that relaxing -- the inside seating area is quite small and busy, the food was good, the service uneven, and the owner/manager seemed to... More

We went here for lunch, and it was delicious. We had fish tacos, chowder and ling cod fish & chips. All of it was very good and the chowder was special with lots of clams, potatoes, and a hint of garlic. We also enjoyed the Cole slaw. The y were busy at lunch, but the service was very good. Everything... More

We went to Luna Sea Fish House for dinner on a Monday night after reading the description in Frommers. The service here was amazing - we felt so welcomed and were given an introduction to the owners of the restaurant, also the fisherman of our meal. We had a crab dinner, chowder, cocktail shrimp and fish and chips (halibot) and... More

We ate here our first night in Yachats. I ordered the baked fish and chips and my husband ordered the fried, his was fabulous. My portion was considerably smaller then his and consisted of about 5 bites of halibut. Expensive for such a small portion. But his was well worth it. The service was awesome, we had to move to... I'm no slouch when it comes to fish and chips. Luna has several varieties, including scallops and fries, but for me, the Ling Cod and fries were the champs. If you test out fish and chips like I do, you'll be as happy as I was with ling cod. Perfect!! And though we never met the owner and skipper, Robert,... More
