My three favorite things; location, service and quality

There are many many eating options in Anguilla. The sandbar was one of my favorites. Food: I would consider the Sandbar to be one of my favorite on the beach restaurants simply because it offers a great mix of local and creative tapas. Also, if you are like me, you don't really need a steak and... read more

I visited with my sister for a light dinner and overall the food was just ok. We selected three things from the menu and shared them and the best of the night were the fries. They were so good they made up for the tasteless Mahi fish bites and the pork sliders which my sister felt were a bit too... More

New ownership has made some changes to the menu. While we miss the meatballs, we absolutely love the zucchini carpaccio. Same relaxed vibe, food is great!

After a day of catermeran sailing we gathered at the Sandbar for tapas. Mahi Mahi bites crispy n non greasy. Short ribs fell off the bone. The French fries spicy n with the remoulade dip were delicious. Spicy edamami healthy choice, grilled fish in tomatoes sauce succulent n moist, service good, even the friendly dog doing sand angels a few... More

SandBar is great casual meal that won't break your bank. Their tapas are delicious and fill you quickly. We ate at SandBar twice on our trip so we tried just about everything on the menu. Everything is fresh and flavorful. My favorites are the wedge salad, skirt steak, mahi fra diavolo and the French fries. Honestly though, you can't go... More

We live on Island and don't get out a whole lot, but Sand Bar is our "go to". Its on the beach in Sandy Ground with great views of the Harbor. The food is great, the tapas allow you to each as much, or as little as you want. The owners are lovely and the staff is great.

We always try to make a SandBar visit when on the island, although this was our first visit under the new ownership. The food was as good as, or even better, than in the past (although plates are now $10 - $13+) - - we tried 6-8 and enjoyed all of them. Drink prices somewhat reasonable. Service was terrific. Great... More

What a great restaurant!! I would highly recommend the zucchini salad which is served warm with almonds and cheese. We also really liked the Mahi nuggets and ribs. The wine are beer prices are also fair. We had 4 dishes, a beer, and a glass of wine for $68USD. The service is incredible as well.

What a great place to end the day! Watch the sunset right on the sand in Sandy Ground. The menu is a wonderful mix of small plate/tapas perfect for sharing so you can have a variety of items for great meal. We had the following items: SandBar Fries with Chili Aioli - crisp, hot, with a great seasoned coating and... More

Fun and interesting beachfront restaurant. Essentially it is a taps place. We shared four dishes and a dessert and that was enough for a hungry couple. The zucchini carpaccio was particularly interesting and delicious. Mahi bites were like little fish and chips. All in all a great choice for a reasonably priced and relaxing beach meal.
