Definitely not to miss in Anguilla

We rented a boat for the day and we stopped in Sandy Island for lunch. What a great place. Very authentic. Amazing view cause you are on the smallest island restaurant all by itself. White sand white water. But dont eat the lobster or ask for the price before :):)

We were having breakfast on the SeaDream Yacht voyage when I noticed a little island with a building on it. We inquired and we were told it was a restaurant! We were in! We took the Joy over. We went over with one other couple (who we just met). We had the island to ourselves. We ordered lunch. They said... More

The boat leaves from the dock on Sandy Ground to Sandy Island about every hour starting at 10:00 through 2:00. I’m pretty sure the guy said the last boat takes you out there at 2:00 and the last boat to take you back leaves Sandy Island at 4:00. We just missed the 2:00 the first day but caught an earlier... My fiancée and I love this island so much that we are getting married in Anguilla later this year. We are kind, extremely patient people. This, however, was the worst if not only negative experience in our two times visiting Anguilla. The boat to Sandy Island is supposed to leave at 10am but they have to send over supplies and... Stopped here on a boat tour and it was so amazing to be on this tiny little island. The bartenders are ready to get everyone a drink and have a good time. Great seafood, fresh and tasty.

I first went to Sandy Island 6 years ago and I have relived the spectacular experience! I had some baby back ribs and the chicken which were both spectacular and the Piña Coladas are to die for!! The water is a bit choppy in some areas of the island but it is a great experience for anyone looking for a... More

Sandy Island's Restaurant offers great food. The grilled meats are grilled to perfection. The service is above average but could be better. It's a nice island get away even when you're already on vacation. The boat ride isn't long and the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I would recommend to anyone who needs to... Beautiful food, had coconut rice which was scrumptious with grilled shrimp in a special sauce. Could have eaten it all over again. The beach were powder sand. The team very attentive.
