Nice place with average food

We ordered a veggie pizza - the portions were generous and the price was right but the taste wasn't that great. We would've been better off ordering a Domino's if it were around. The vibe of this place is great though. Nice decors and in general a nice stop-over.

This restaurant is a nice stop on your way up to the mountain and we have been a few times now. We started with their nachos which were excellent and then split a SMALL pizza between the two of us. We were stuffed and had a slice or two to take with us. I would have to recommend the Taco... More

Adjacent to Mt Hood National Forrest is a quaint restaurant called Zig Zag restaurant! We both had the special me filet mignon very good. My husband had the salmon, we enjoyed the atmosphere and food very much. There are a lot of antique skis, toys, to see when you finish eating. Great spot!

We've been coming here for years. Sometimes even making a long drive from the city to get here. The food is "greasy spoon, hole in the wall" style which we happen to love. It's the real - deal home style food :). The pizza in particular is one of our family favorites. The first time we had it, we weren't... More

A restaurant in a mountain cabin on a damp rainy day along with a great Italian salad and a pizza... WOW! This is a very popular place with the locals and visitors to Mt. Hood. Surprisingly pizza is their specialty (and it is excellent) while one would expect steaks and burgers. The staff is friendly, the place is clean and... More

We stepped into the warmth of a rustic log cabin style restaurant to prompt and friendly service that carried throughout the meal experience. The multi-generational staff gave the impression of a family run restaurant, a hunch that was confirmed by our waitress. Food, we had salad and non-traditional pizzas, was very good and the salads we were sharing were split... More

Ordered extra large pizza for 3 of us since we had just finished a long hike. It was excellent. They even substituted one of the toppings at no charge. Also, they made half the pizza Greek and half vegetarian at no cost. Pizza was not very cheesy and the crust was firm. Toppings were fresh. Chocolate brownie sundae was good... More

We have had the Early Bird Special Breakfast two days in a row at the Zig Zag Café. $4 gets you two eggs, two slices of bacon, breakfast potatoes, a home made biscuit, and a good helping of homemade huckleberry jam. This breakfast is available from 7-9am everyday. You can also order off the menu. Most items are made from... More

The ZigZag Inn was our favorite place to eat on our recent vacation to the Mt. Hood area. We were drawn to the log-cabin exterior and the large number of vehicles in the parking lot (which is how we choose restaurants on many occasions - we figure the locals know where to eat!) As we entered, our first impression was... More

The service at Zig Zag was friendly and attentive, the food was sort of middle of the road. We made two visits having salads, pizza and a hamburger, none were noteworthy but a little overpriced. Probably would not return.
