Get the stompin' mountain toast - it is Texas toast dipped in pancake batter , oats, and frosted flakes deep fried. Sooo good. Cool atmosphere too!

What a find this was, thanks to tripadvisor.com my sister and I had the best bisquits and gravy. Ever. And believe me, we know our bisquits and gravy! This seemed to be a "local's" place and those are always the best places to eat. Great food, very friendly staff, we left feeling like we'd made new friends. We recommended this... More

My girlfriend and I stopped by on a Friday morning on the way up to Mt. Hood. It was nice and quiet being late morning. The interior, once you get passed the big log door, is very rustic with log walls and mountain decor. We ordered omelets and biscuits and gravy but we couldn't finish them as the portions were... Friday night is Prime rib dinner night, a full meal with soup and salad, vegies and choice of potato cannot be beat! The service is fast and efficent everytime we go. Check... More

Another one of those historic "establishments" along the Trail on the west slope of Mt. Hood. Once a place with food, drink, bed, and ladies of the night, currently the food & drink stand alone & the service is friendly and on point. Lots of interesting and tasty breakfast offerings (with even 2 types of potato preparations offered)... And it's... More

My mother and I like to visit this place for the soups, especially, and sandwiches. Meals are good, all are very good and reasonably priced. Interesting decor, nice folks, prompt service. Coffee is passable, not great. Beers and wine are good to excellent.

If you want average American food, you will be satisfied. Don't expect fresh food, this is standard high fat, deep fried kind of place. I had the chicken fried steak SMOTHERED in gravy and my friend had chicken cordon bleu that said it was made fresh but appeared to have been taken out of a bag and then deep fried... More

This roadside quaint establishment offers American food at reasonable prices. Portions are generous but not overwhelming. Ordered blue cheese bacon burger w/onion rings and was very pleased. My partner had the fish & chips and was also pleasantly satisfied with it. With sodas and the up charge for onion rings, our bill came to $30 for lunch. Service was good... More

Best breakfast ever. I had the special omelette with mushrooms, tomato, ham, swiss, and hollandaise sauce. Huge bunch of hasbrowns and great toast to boot. My son had the strawberry pancakes off the kids menu and the best bacon he said he has ever had. This breakfast was awesome - even better than usual at a great breakfast place. The... More
