Worth the drive upriver! Jamie was absolutely delightful and graciously took care of our party of 10. We loved the atmosphere, beautiful scenery and the food was delicious. We will certainly be going back in the Summer. Do yourself a favour and head for Jamie's Dockside Diner!

You really have to be on your toes or you'll miss this place. Excellent and varied breakfast fare whether unique omelet creations or breakfast sandwiches and griddle fare. You might, as we did, enjoy the river otters playing in the river or on the dock as we did. But the best part is the extremely warm and friendly service Jamie... More

We drove by this place and decided not to enter what appeared to be a trailer park dive. A few days later after reading the reviews we returned to try it. After driving the half-dozen miles up the Alsea River from Waldport we discovered it closed . . . as the sign and reviews clearly indicate. So a few days... More

Glad to be back to Jamie's. The chili was great today! It's such a great place to go when we're in Waldport. The food is great and it's always fun to visit with Jamie.

Kind of awkward to get to because you have to drive through an older manufactured home park, but the food and the people were wonderful. This place sits right on the water and you can enjoy the river. Went there with 4 of my gradeschool friends for brunch and we had a blast! The owners were very attentive and cooked... More

Stopping at Jaime's takes me back to road trips taken with my grandparents in the 50's and 60's. Curvy two-lane highways and restaurants with friendly service, delicious food and that quiet comfort of an era gone by. The close quarters, counter service, friendly staff and even the bathroom in another building.....don't forget the key ring - are all part of... More
