Their Happy Hour is delicious and well priced. Great place for special occasions or a nice dinner for anytime.
My wife and I have now been to this restaurant about five times and have never been disappointed. There is a romantic mood, with soft lighting, a fire in the fireplace, views of the river (sometimes with fishermen), good food, and excellent live piano, sometimes with violin, or bass, or you-name-it. The meals are cooked to perfection and the service... More
Was looking for a delicious meal, disappointed. No butter with bread, just white fluffed margarine. 10Cents worth of zucchini. We didn't care for salad or dessert. Atmosphere cold and tall thin backs on chair so uncomfortable. We don't plan on returning. The waitress service was excellent.
Had Christmas eve dinner here, the piano music was very loud and made it difficult to even carry on a conservation.. Ordered hot buttered rum, which had no rum or very little, the waitress argued about the drink and did not offer any solution. Had Thanksgiving dinner here and it was excellent. Nice turkey slices, fluffy mashed potatoes like grandma used to make, smooth glass of pinot, and caramel apple cheesecake. What's not to love? One tiny thing I would change was the salad croutons which were soggy but otherwise perfect meal, great service, live guitar solo, fireplace. Would do this again for sure.
Me and my wife came here for our anniversary, we enjoyed sitting outside. The food was excellent! The service was good.
The Riverview was excellent from start to finish. Set back off the main road, the ambiance, menu, service all A++ The menu offered a wide variety of choices; it was hard to pick! We thoroughly enjoyed the serene scenery/outdoor dining. I highly recommend this fabulous establishment!
every thing was lovely - last evening in US . Service professional and pleasing, food good , jazzy duo in the back ground and most enjoyable. Ahi a touch dry, but very passable.
Our family gathered here for a wedding rehearsal dinner, on the evening before the actual wedding ceremony at McMenamin's Edgefield up / down the road. We were pleased beyond expectation at the setting, service and food. The scenery is idyllic, on the Sandy River below, with towering firs everywhere, and secret spots on the well-kept grounds to make leisurely walks... More
