The Black Rabbit pub next door is much better. Lower prices but still classy, tasty food. Black Rabbit Pub during happy hour is the best place on the property to eat.

I eat here after Edgefield concerts and have been doing so for several years. It's a nice option when sitting in a parking lot for an hour is your other choice. There has been a recent menu change and the few items I liked are gone. This week I had scallops wrapped in bacon which was served cold and ever... More

Also known as McMenamin's, this delightful spot serves up some real fine food. A seasonal asparagus salad with a strawberry vinegar was only out done by the Black Rabbit artisanal cheese board...3 large pieces of cheese served with quince pate, roasted walnuts and terminator bread. The murals on the well were intriguing. Service was surprisingly laid back since there were... More

We had the Salmon, it was delicious and plentiful. This place is a little pricey, salad was extra, dinner was the salmon and some interesting cucumbers. Wine list was immense. We asked for a booth and we told they were all taken, we were seated at a table surrounded by at least 6 empty booths.

On the expensive side for dinner so we didn't eat there. Breakfast was good though with average prices.

Most of my review is based on the food and beverage that I had at this location. If you are going for the "experience"....please enjoy the unbelievably beautiful grounds. If you are going for your dining pleasure, please skip this place and go another mile or two down the road to Troutini. We ate here for 2 different meals, on... More

The Black Rabbit is a great restaurant tucked away in McMenamins at Edgewood. The food was excellent and so was the service. Things were hopin and the wait staff was busy, but they got caught up and made us happy. But the food and service is only a small part of the draw at this property. There is a hotel,... More

Awesome food and great service. The bloody marys are a treat and the food was outstanding. I had the quiche and my wife the frittata. Sat at the bar and was treated to a great conversation with the bartenders and several other couples enjoying breakfast. Dinner was awesome as well.

We were at the Edgefield complex on a sunny day. It was packed with people enjoying the first sunny day of spring. We wandered until we found the Black Rabbit, a quiet corner to enjoy the great McMenamins ales and pub food. The complex itself deserves a visit to enjoy the grounds and seemingly endless venues. Housed in a former... More
