Yum!

Yummy for all meals. Can be casual or totally dressed up. It's all good. The bar attached can be a little loud on occasion, but not enough to ruin your meal. Outside dining options make it really nice during summer.

Whether it was breakfast, lunch or a dinner this is a great option to dine when visiting Edgefield. Service was always excellent. Food from the freshest of ingredients and the combination of flavors a fun explore. Our dinner was early in the evening so we went with lighter fare; fresh bread, Caesar salad, soup/butternut squash w/hazelnuts and scallions, plus seared... More

We've visited this stunner several times and taken friends for their 'inaugural' visits. Every time, it's a winner. Whether dining before a concert, a relaxing Sunday brunch, or popping in with a girlfriend for lunch ~ it's just ALL GOOD! Sometimes the chef brings your entree or checks in to see how you enjoyed it; so cool! And always, you... More

The food was just amazing! I had fresh halibut, perfectly cooked and my boyfriend had the wild boar and he's still drooling over that meal. Restaurant is pleasant and the service was excellent. We will definitely go back next time we are in the Portland area. Just a wonderful dinner that was memorable.

We recently spent a night at Edgefield. Going for the entire resort experience, we ate at their flagship restaurant. The service was friendly and not slow. The food was good. As noted elsewhere, the price was sort of high, but not beyond what one might expect to pay in an establishment of this kind. If you are planning a night... More

The tables are beautifully decorated and the food was amazing! The salad dressing was the best ceaser I've ever had and the this place knows what medium rare means! Make your reservation with plunty time in advance, because this place was hoppin! The bread and butter they start you out with was fresh, warm, and home made. Plan on spending... More

This place just isn't about the food. It's part of a sprawling complex of businesses that are kitschy, in a potentially nice setting. But don't go looking for excellent food. The food is fine, but not great. The options are limited. Service is businesslike.

stopped by to grab a drink and a bite to eat after a hike. I love how beautiful edgefield is and its always nice to visit. Ive never been here for brunch and was pleasantly surprised at the huevos rancheros. But like every Mcmenamins, waitstaff cater to the regulars, and the mixed drinks are always weak so it is best... We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at the Black Rabbit Restaurant at McMenamin’s Edgefield in Troutdale, OR. The surroundings of the old County Poor Farm are more than charming and the food is of the highest quality. Four different entrees were served at our table and each one was a hit. The mimosas and other beverages were quite good; the house... More

The Oregon Bay Shrimp Louis Salad is a wedge of head lettuce laced with shrimp and drizzled with thousand island dressing. It was almost too pretty to eat. The Pacific NW Crab Sandwich was filled with large pieces of fresh crab meat, bacon, lettuce and tomato. It was too large for me to wrap my mouth around; so, I ate... More
