Had the buffet for dinner and it was great for the entire family. Service was good as well. Don't forget the dessert table :)

The food was ok, nothing much to talk about. However the service was not all there. It took a while to get the attention of a hostes and when I finally did they did not seem pleased to have to help people into their dining room. However, we did meet a server who was a bit more cordial and tried... More

The fact that my wife saw the movie "Shining", which was filmed at this location, she insisted we visit this lodge and eat at their restaurant.... and it was a good experience. We go to buffets regularly where we live (lots of options), but I would say this is very good. Many buffets focus on "lots" of different dishes rather... More

We have been to many brunches and this one was the best ever. The service was wonderful and the food was beyond what I would ever expect from a buffet. It is a bit pricey but well worth every penny spent. They even had a children's buffet station at an appropriate height for children with things kids love to eat!... More

The Cascade Dining a Room at Timberline Lodge is a superb restaurant by any measure- but the fact you are sitting on (or near) an ancient glacier so high up that tress stop growing- makes it a special treat. The meats and produce are mostly from the local area and the preparation is very creative with a New a American... More

My esteemed spouse and I recently enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the Cascade dining room. It was warm and comfortable and delightful to look out the window and watch the cars getting buried by snow. He had the breakfast buffet and enjoyed it all, especially the make your own waffles with all the fruit toppings to choose from. I had... More

The buffet featured man items. You could make your own waffle - they had lots of fruits to add to it and syrup. I was thrilled to see Biscuits and Gravy - but unfortunately - the gravy was loaded with onions! I've never had it that way - and the onions were so strong that when it got on the... More

One our way from Portland across the Cascades to Bend, OR we decided to stop. And wow, are we glad we did! First, the lodge is simply gorgeous. . . huge timbers, the snow was 12 ft high pressed up against the windows, and the fire was roaring. The rustic atmosphere was very appealing and the staff extremely welcoming. The... More

My husband and I recently stayed at the historic Timberline Lodge for our anniversary. It was rustic, charming, cozy and romantic. But the best part was the food - amazing! We ate in the Cascade Dining Room the first night and we both had the tenderloin for a main course. It was the best we could remember in a long... More
