Description: A pioneering spirit of craftsmanship paired with a deep-rooted connection...
A pioneering spirit of craftsmanship paired with a deep-rooted connection to the region inspires Timberline's culinary program. Timberline is at the center of Oregon's bounty, surrounded by mountain streams and a plentiful ocean teeming with fish, rolling fields of fresh and organic produce and locally-raised livestock and poultry. All tended by producers with a common goal. Chef Jason Stoller Smith and Timberline's talented culinary brigade share this vision and invite you to "Taste Oregon" in the Cascade Dining Room.

The lunch buffet is great. Lots of choices. The desserts were to die for. The dinner is excellent. Those desserts were even better. The breakfast buffet was so much better than at most hotels since this is a fine dining restaurant. The service was wonderful.

Horrible buffett. The food seemed to have been prepared way in advance and was very poor quality. We went for the slices of beef. So tough we couldn't event cut it. Only a butter knife provided. So disappointing. The macaronic and cheese barely had any seasoning or cheese. The beans and beets were terrible as well. The only thing that... More

While the menue was a little limited, what they served was as good as I've had. Had prosciutto wrapped Salmon fillet. Out of the world

We were a party of five and every dinner ordered was different and fabulous. I wish the dinning room had Mt Hood View windows but other than that it was great.

We decided to stop here for lunch as we were touring the area. There were two meat choices, pork and meatloaf, a baked pasta dish and roasted vegetables as hot items. There were seven different salads to choose from as well as various cheeses and fruits. Many delicious desserts were available as well as waffles. Overall, most things other than... More

My husband and I had lunch in the sparkling dinning room, beside a window with a great view. The snow covered mountains and trees were a great treat for this Sourh Ga visitor! The food was delectable, and we enjoyed the warm homemade bread. The desserts were excellent along with hot coffee. I would highly recommend this dinning room as... More

We visited Timberline Lodge just for the day and decided to eat in the Cascade Dining Room because it was open and we were hungry. We really weren't expecting much, especially since there weren't many other options for food. Wow, were we wrong! It was fantastic! The buffet was about $20 per person which seemed a bit steep. But for... More

Top selection and quality of northwest cuisine in the most beautiful mountain loge setting. (We left a beautiful coat, which to our pleasure was located and returned within the week.)
