Came away with lot's of good stuff: Brie cheese & SF Huckleberry jam to name just two. Also enjoyed a house made sandwich on their patio! A really fun stop with too many great products to itemize here

It's a nice counterpoint to Tillamook cheese factory. Not sure if they make anything themselves. More of a store than anything else, though they do serve food as well. They have a ton of samples, and some interesting and hard to find cheeses. Plus, lots of interesting Oregon food souvenirs. When it was crowded, which was often, the service was... More

The environment was lovely and I get what they are trying to create with the grounds and animals. However, I went for the cheese. After the experience at the "factory" up the street, I was hoping for artisan cheese. Unfortunately, they only have brie cheese and it is made in the Mid-West and shipped in and flavored onsite. We looked... More

This is a place to visit for local wine tasting and cheese tasting, not for the deli. I enjoyed the cheese tasting and the samples of different dips/dressings in the store, but that is where I should have stopped. We got some sandwiches to go from the deli along with side salads and drinks and were disappointed by the quality... More

We stopped for lunch and were thrilled with what we had. We ordered sandwiches and soup/salad. Everything was great. The homemade soup is great, the salad fresh, and the sandwiches were wonderful. After lunch we decided to taste wine, cheese, dips, jams, etc. Perfect stop as the place was not crowded. I wouldn't want to be there with bus trips.... More

As a city girl living in this rural coastal community, this is one of the few places I enjoy eating, when I go out to eat. The food is fresh and made daily, tasty and comforting and average in price. It can get crowded at times, especially during the tourist season, but that is par for the course. It's an... More

We had lunch and a wine tasting at the Blue Heron, it was quite a treat. I ordered the bowl of soup (clam chowder) with salad (choice of two salads - I choose spinach salad & cheese tortellini). The food was great! However, I was stuffed as I never expected such large servings for the price. In hindsight, I should... More

We stop here for lunch often as the food is very good. However, I do not believe I should have to wear a zipped up jacket while eating at a restaurant just to stay warm. Looking around at the other customers, everyone was wearing jackets or heavy sweaters. I asked the waitress to please turn on some heat and she... More

I can sort of understand why a lot of people like this, but we went in thinking it would be cheese and wine tasting...instead it was an insane chaos of jam, dip, mustard, etc tastings in crowded little areas surrounded by shelves of knick knack stuff. The kind of place a busload of tourists would stop. Not what we were... More
