Good serving size for lunch, reliable menu

The boy and I met his mother for lunch this afternoon, and decided to try out the local Mazatlán restaurant. The one near home has been reliably decent in taste, and due to this, I didn't feel it would be a stretch to enjoy the dishes served at the location in Tigard. I was right. I feel as... read more

My husband and I both ordered the Burrito al Pastor for dinner. The burrito was huge and it had absolutely no taste. The rice was gummy; the meat was grisly. Quantity... no Quality! The service was good but the food... just nasty!

This place has a six for seize menu. Six different awesome menu items for six bucks. These are meals like 2 enchiladas including rice beans and chips and salsa. all served you in a lovely sit down setting with Mexican murals and everything. Compare that to the misery that is going to McDonalds and spending six bucks or actually more... More

I used to go to the restaurant all the time and loved the taco salad without the shell but this time it was just so bland. My husband was really unhappy with his burrito. If you like plain, nothing special Mexican, this is the place for you. I do like their bean dip, it comes with the chips and salsa.

This cute little place was just a couple of blocks from our hotel, so we decided to check it out. The pluses: the food was pretty good, included a small vegetarian menu, and portions were large. The minuses: The salsa, even the one called "spicy" was not hot by our standards. (We are from Texas.) The margarita, while generous in... More

The front door was opened for us as we got out of our car. We were seated immediately, served chips and salsa which were good, and had our waters within a minute. The food however was not good. I ordered the tamales and my husband ordered the pork carnitas; we were not impressed with either dish. I did devour and... More

The food was really good, however, the service was not. I thought it was just an off night so we went back a second time to try and the service was the same (same waiter too). Had to ask for chips and salsa several times, saw our waiter once to order, once when the food came out, and once for... More

We enjoyed our meal in this friendly Mexican restaurant. There are wide variety of menu items with consideration for senior citizens. Fresh made tortillas were good along with the salsas. If we lived in the area we would be regulars at this restaurant as you are treated well and the food is good while still being affordable.

The service was decent, about average for a Mexican restaurant. No appetizers on the menu were actually appetizers, they were lunch menu items. I had the fajitas, they were good. My wife had the enchiladas, she did not like them. Ok family resturant, not a big bar scene.

It is always nice when the food and staff are equally complementary as they are at Mazatlan. My mom has eaten there several times and this was my first. The Pork Carnitas were excellent and the different sauces they have and salsa are very tasty.
