A quick, easy , healthy, casual place to dine while in Portland on business or pleasure. Good food. Friendly service. More that enough options.

We've dined here on numerous occasions. This time met the usual expectations. The salads were fresh and tasty, the soups were varied and good, and the pasta dishes were hot and fresh. We were a part of nine and did not have problems finding seating.

We've eaten at Sweet Tomatoes several times, and we have yet to be disappointed. This is a salad bar buffet at heart, and the salad bar is extensive and fresh at all times. Excellent selection of leafy salads as well as fruit and pasta salads. All very flavorful. Once past the salad bar you have the choices of a soup... More

We were running errands in the area and decided to stop by Sweet Tomatoes for lunch because we were looking for something a little healthy and that has variety to appeal to different tastes. We loved the seemingly huge variety of salad options, both single ingredient and the pre-mixed salads. The staff were so nice and friendly, which is a... More

Next to the Portland Zoo, Sweet Tomatoes has to be Oregon kids favorite place. We went to Sweet Tomatoes on a Saturday night along with most of the children in the greater Portland area. The place was packed, and it was jumping. Thanks to an expediter, the wait for a table was not long. The restaurant is one large salad... More

My family loves the many choices at this restaurant. It is great that everyone in your family can pile up their plate with salads and soup that they love. I especially love their breads. We have always come away from here feeling stuffed and happy!

From the Midwest, I've never heard of Sweet Tomatoes until my last visit to the Pacific NW. After a day of touring northwest Oregon, my family suggested Sweet Tomatoes. It was described as good salad options, great soups, and a relaxed setting....they perfectly described Sweet Tomatoes. If you're looking for a light faire, hot soup and pasta options.....go to Sweet... More

this sweet tomatoes is not up to par with others (i.e. Beaverton). Although the food is the same, It has messy stations along the way. When you have so many people with so much access to the food line, it should be kept clean and tidy. If the Beaverton management can keep their restaurant running well with all the traffic... More

$9 per person for lunch and it will hold you the whole day :-) This time there were 8 different soups, plus of course the looong well stocked salad bar, plus three kinds of fresh pasta, and baked potatoes. One of this month's (October) promotional items was baked sweet potatoes with maple cream butter - oh, they were heavenly! Then... More

Our family had a wonderful meal at Sweet Tomatoes. We were looking for a Souplantation and found through Internet that they are now Sweet Tomatoes. We found this one on our way back to Seattle to catch our flight home from vacation. It was a wonderful break from a long drive and all of us had a delicous meal. It... More
