First visit - great experience

We had read this place was one of the top eateries in the area. My husband and I are not vegan. But after traveling across the country we really wanted a healthy option ! They asked if we had been there before. We said no. They were extremely helpful in selecting foods. Made sure we knew... read more

I usually only write positive reviews, normally i would have given Native Foods 5 stars across the board but my last 3 visits have been less than average, i think they got to big too fast and too corporate.I use to go here a couple times a week in Tigard and then I went to Clackamas, I also have been... Meeting for lunch with vegetarian/vegan friends can be a bit challenging at times, but the Native Foods Cafe has proven to be our answer to that little dilemma. The staff is helpful, the place is clean, and because it's part of the Bridgeport Shopping Center, there is almost always plenty of parking (Christmas is the big exception there). I found... More

The cooks and wait staff are very helpful explaining ingredients. The food is high quality and flavorful although I'm no longer vegetarian and have never been vegan. The flavors and spices are good, making the dishes interesting and satisfying.

More and more people are choosing a plant-based diet for 1) personal health 2) animal welfare and 3) environmental concerns, yet it can be difficult to find restaurants that share those concerns. Native Foods is an environmentally-conscious place that is part of a 21st century movement toward a healthy and sustainable future. It is completely vegan - no dairy, no... More

This is a vegan cafe. The "meat" is vegetarian and delicious. There are so many good choices we had a hard time deciding what to try. We both had bowls which were big and good tasting. There are salads and more main course kind of items as well. It's nice to get healthy vegetarian food in a restaurant that understands... More

I only had a salad as the mystery meat was a little scary for me. Place seemed clean, staff was friendly enough, that's why they get two stars, just not my cup of tea. Won't be back.

My wife is vegan and we have a hard time finding a good restaurant in our home town. We love to go to native foods when we are in the Bridgeport area. We discovered the Reuben sandwich and it's just as good as the real thing for a meat lover like me. And to make it better, we stopped there... More

While we always appreciate vegan and plant-based options to meet our dietary needs, this one doesn't make the cut. Yes, the entire menu is "vegan" and it is heavily slanted toward food items pretending to be meat. Also VERY salty . . . they use way too much sodium in all of their foods, tasting more like the processed foods... More

My wife discovered Native Foods about a year ago and we have been enjoying their "Vegan" food many times. We went to Brigeport Village yesterday, December 8, 2014 to do some shopping and have lunch at Native Foods Cafe. We are drawn to this establishment because of the eclectic menu and really delicious food. I often order the daily special... More
