I had the baja fish tacos and they were very good. The serving comes with three full, large tacos, as well as delicious black beans. I had a beer that complemented the flavors, and the chocolate brownie dessert. Oh my!!!! sinfully tasty - again, large portion - three or four people could enjoy just one plate. When I visit the... Shared a great evening with family at the TL! The casual atmosphere sets the tone for the opportunity to visit & imbibe. As always good food with attentive servers. Highly recommended for that special evening with friends.

This place has an outstanding selection of tap beer. A beer lover's paradise. I had the fish and chips and they were really good at a good price, around $13 I think, more than fair considering the quality and portions. Good service seated at bar, even during a busy time. Lots of big TV's that you can see from all... More

For Portland area residents The "Lion" is probably easy to find. On alien turf we struggled a bit. The place was rockin' when we arrived around 6pm. We preferred indoor seating but, ate suggestion of the hostess, we took an outdoor table to move things along. The service was a bit slow due to the volume. The food, BIG food...like... More

WE have three walking grand babies under 19 months. It is hard to keep them contained and to be able to enjoy a meal out together. The Thirsty Lion worked for us. We were seated at a round table in the back by the outside patio door. It was great. They have a kid's menu and so much variety on... More

We went to the Thirsty Lion for an early Father's Day celebration. I had read their online menus before going. The online seasonal menu was for Spring, which we had enjoyed before. However, when we were seated, they announced their new Summer menu, which had many great choices. We had trouble choosing, so we decided to select 4 different items... More

My spouse and I had a delightful lunch with outdoor seating. We arrived at 1:00 to avoid the business lunch crowd. We were seated immediately, no wait! We asked for water and ordered beer, and both were delivered quickly. For food, we ordered from the "Spring Seasonal Features" menu. Thirsty Lion offered a salad that was great. It was called...
