Lovely, lovely, lovely. Ultimately we decided that wine and/or dinner not worth the price, but check it out: you may well feel differently.

I whole heartedly recommend the poached salmon. It's a popular place so do go in a hurry and make reservations if you can. It's worth the wait.

Interesting old building from the pioneer days in The Dalles. For the salad I ordered the Caesar salad which was Crisp Romaine lettuce tossed in their Caesar dressing with homemade seasoned croutons and parmesan cheese. For the entrée I ordered the Pork Parmesan which was seasoned cutlets of pork tenderloin, served on a bed of fettuccine and topped with an... More

excellent food in a restaurant in an old historic saloon (trainspotting at the back door !). Lovely interior decoration and first class friendly staff.

This is a great place. Casual with a lot of choices and good food. Service was outstanding. The crab sandwich was tasty and enough for 2. Desserts also outstanding. I wish they did breakfast. I would definitely go back.

This was our first time here and was impressed! Not for the white tablecloths , cause there weren't any, but the food and service was first class. We shared 2 things. First, the Dijon sautéed calamari, which was excellent! Never had sautéed so a great treat! Next we split the whole avocado salad which was stuffed with crab and shrimp.... More

This saloon is in a very old building. It features an antique mahogany bar and an amazing array of hundred year old landscape and nude saloon paintings from the West. The owner is a collector and knows what she's doing. The menu is huge and there are many fresh choices. My husband had fish and chips that were absolutely perfect.

The decorations and seating is more Salon/Bar, the food is more trendy good Seafood. There were a lot of Locals there on a Saturday night which is usually a good sign. The menu is large with Seafood as well as pasta's, burgers and steaks. The halibut was delightful and the homemade desserts were delicious.

Kids enjoyed variety, one had buttered noodles and the other a grilled cheese. Broccoli cheese soup was a hit on a Sat night. Adults had a BLT and Scallops Provençal. BLT was good, bacon was plentiful but fries were a little too browned (looked like oil needed changed). Scallops were good, probably not worth 26 bucks but hit the seafood... More

We arrived on a Thursday night around 8:00pm. The bartender greeted us and got us seated. I immediately ordered our drinks from her because we needed a libation at that point. She made some very good mojitos we enjoyed while reading the menu. I was beginning to get worried about the service. There was a large party and the server... More
