This is my favorite drinking hole in The Dalles. They have great daily specials. They also offer happy hour every day from 3-6pm! They just installed all new kitchen equipment & the food is the best it's ever been! My favorite is the Thai Chicken Nacho. The staff remembers what I like to drink & are always welcoming. Sometimes you... More

My husband and I had heard a lot about the rivertap so we decided to try it out for ourselves. Well first off we came on a Friday with I believe was a wrong choice to make as we walked through the parking lot we heard not so appealing music that was just over baring I couldn't hear myself think!... We were driving across the Oregon/Washington border along the river and stopped here for lunch. It was too hot to sit ourside, but the patio looked nice for another time. The food was great pub-style with a southwest flair. We had the quesadilla and nachos. We should have shared one, they were so large. Unfortunately we were on the road... More

Almost gave it a four rating, because of several visits, but our last this week was only average, possibly someone new in the kitchen, and a lot of flies to deal with. Some evenings they do have local musical talent play in the outdoor patio, and were surprised at the level of talent. Worth the stop!

Had the Hemp Burger and it was extremely bland. I went back a second time and had the stir fry but it was even more disappointing. A family member had it the first time I visited and it was great, but my order did not taste like the same meal - very bland. Good atmosphere though for live music.

I was extremely tired and hungry by the time I arrived in Dalles, this was my stop-over from John Day Fossils Beds National Monument to Seattle. I basically rolled into town, and this was the first place I found once I seen civilization. Checked it's ranking in Tripadvisor - 15. That will do. It looked attractive, there was a patio... More

I went to the Rivertap for dinner and a beer and the place was awesome! Hailey was very knowledgeable about the menu and the beer on tap. It was busy but her service was excellent. I will definitely return my next time in town! Thank you!

I stumbled upon this place while driving down the street looking for something to eat. My mother and I were headed from Easter Oregon back to Portland to catch the plane home to Lubbock. The lunch special included tacos as it was "Taco Tuesday. I used to be skeptical of anything non-chain restaurant in Oregon that served tacos or other... More

Popped into Rivertap for lunch on our way to Portland. It was a sunny Thursday afternoon and we got to enjoy the outside tables. Unfortunately there was only one waitress on duty and quite a few customers so service was very slow. Despite the slowness, she was very friendly and apologetic. Food was exactly what you'd come to expect from... More

As we speak I am sitting at the river tap trying to enjoy a night out without kids and it turns into a night of being ignored. In an hour and a half I had our waitress bring us one drink. It doesn't matter how busy you are or how new you are...STILL customer service should always be number one.... More
