What a surprise!

Sorry to say, this used to be a great place to catch a game and a beer. The prices have crept up recently and the service is just not what I expect any more. Yeah, I'll probably still go in, but the trips will be fewer until I can see an improvement in service.

Patio was comfortable - Quesadilla was yummy - grilled Salmon salad special was great - service great too! All the locals seemed to be there-that's usually how you know it's worthy!!! we'll be back!

This was the second time we've eaten here, first time was pretty meh so I'm not sure why we came back. Food was awful! My hubby's fish was greasy and too salty, the fries were terrible, obviously frozen with little bits of whatever on them to make them more crispy but we dislike that kind. I ordered the chicken dinner... More

At dinner on a Friday night at about 7 p.m. the music was blaring. Not a good place to have a conversation with your dining partner. Food was average but hot and fresh.

Took a trip "into town" from our Deschutes Recreation Area campsite to enjoy a cold brew and a casual dinner, and we were not disappointed. The patio is quite nice with plenty of shade from the sunshine and it is dog friendly....that's how we roll, especially when camping. We enjoyed an Oregon beer (yay Boneyard!), husband had a gorgeous burger... More

This is my favorite drinking hole in The Dalles. They have great daily specials. They also offer happy hour every day from 3-6pm! They just installed all new kitchen equipment & the food is the best it's ever been! My favorite is the Thai Chicken Nacho. The staff remembers what I like to drink & are always welcoming. Sometimes you... More

My husband and I had heard a lot about the rivertap so we decided to try it out for ourselves. Well first off we came on a Friday with I believe was a wrong choice to make as we walked through the parking lot we heard not so appealing music that was just over baring I couldn't hear myself think!... We were driving across the Oregon/Washington border along the river and stopped here for lunch. It was too hot to sit ourside, but the patio looked nice for another time. The food was great pub-style with a southwest flair. We had the quesadilla and nachos. We should have shared one, they were so large. Unfortunately we were on the road... More

Almost gave it a four rating, because of several visits, but our last this week was only average, possibly someone new in the kitchen, and a lot of flies to deal with. Some evenings they do have local musical talent play in the outdoor patio, and were surprised at the level of talent. Worth the stop!
