Description: This is a fast food chain of restaurants in the Portland area. But it is SO MUCH better than most chain restaurants. Fabulous burgers, veggie burgers, fish, salads, chicken. We are so glad we found one in The Dalles.

We stopped here on a road trip from San Diego to Spokane. The hamburgers were great "old fashion style" and very tasty. Cost for two hamburgers, fries and drinks less than $12. Very clean, well kept restaurant with a 1950's look. I would like to see this chain open up in San Diego.

I had the chicken sandwich with bacon and it really hit the spot. The people working were really great and the service was fast.

Traveling along I84 along the Columbia River, The Dalles Burgerville is the last one for thousands of miles. Popular in Portland, OR and southern Washington, Burgerville is none for its green stewardship for healthy fast food. NW natural beef and sweet potato fries are just some of the really good treats that you can get. My wife's gluten intolerance allows... More

Really good burgers... not gourmet, just very good regular burgers (which we prefer). Also good fries, great service, and good prices. Their menu is better than most fast food places.

Always great. The original burger is paper thin. Walla walla onion rings are the best in the world! Blackberry milkshake is delicious.

Burgerville was close to where I was staying, and I was looking for something quick and easy. The cheeseburger was OK, and I could eat the fries. (I can't say that about most french fries.) I guess to sum it up , I would go back again.

I had heard from other Oregonians how great Burgerville was, but I'd never gone before. We were on our way home from a trip three hours away, and I wanted to stop at Burgerville and finally try it. The food was EXCELLENT, and that would have been enough to make me happy. But what was even better than that was... More

Burgerville was started by an Oregon man who required excellence in his product. Food is made of local/regional ingredients. Seasonally, there are different offerings. Oregon Strawberries in the spring. Walla Walla onion rings in season. Hazelnut milkshakes and smoothies. What ever is served it is good. Never greasy. You may pay a little more than McDonald's; but, you get what... More

Seems that all menu items are expensive compared to quality and quantity. The restaurant is however centrally located.
