Clock Tower Ales is a new pub in The Dalles, Oregon. They offer pizza, salads, sandwiches, wraps and many appetizers. They are working on their own brews but until they perfect them they offer many wonderful brews, all on tap. It's a bright and happy place with great pizza and beer. The bartender, a friendly young lady, was happy to discuss local fishing and other recreational opportunities in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our pizza and our visit to Clock Tower Ales. We will definitely be back the next time we pass through. Really fun place.

Invited a friend from Portland for lunch...thot we'd try this place...WHAT a mistake. It was a littlecrowded, but there were 4 or 5 waitresses onduty. My friend ordered an "Out West" Salad w/chicken. I ordered BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich w/cup of soup. After eating half of her salad, my friend found a small, green worm under a lettuce leaf. When... More

This place was originally the jail or something, back in the day they even had hangings there, then it was a mortuary and I even down the rickety basement steps and observed the mortician equipment that is still down there , creepy, also where the bar is now was where the bodies were laid out , nice to now don't... Well, I guess I just can't stop from eating their nachos. Both times I have been, and the reason is that if a place can't get nachos right then the other food is worth trying. This place does a great job on nachos, real good in fact. My wife loved her dinner too. With four offerings of root beer I... More

I so want The Dalles to develop a better restaurant culture and more craft beer outlets. Alas, although we've tried to patronize this place and lend them our support, the food, beer, and service just don't hold up. Went to a St. Patrick's Day event this weekend; the food wasn't bad but was astronomically overpriced; the beer just OK, the... More

The service, Happy Hour prices and selection of beers was great. The meat in the burger off the regular menu lacked flavor, but otherwise nicely composed. The cheese and bacon fries were delicious. We sat on the patio where we enjoyed unusually perfect March weather.

Watched the Super bowl in bar area. The restaurant had great super bowel specials as well as happy hour. We recommend you try the Cajun dusted shoestrings fries - they are awesome!!

We drive through The Dalles on s regular basis and while we have seen this establishment we have never stopped until today. The beer is great, lots of choices. The food was wonderful. We had the Reuben and it was delicious. We will stop here again soon.

Very cool looking place former courthouse and a great history. Gas lamps in the place made for a great reason to stop. The distinct lack of sincerity in the staff and the lack of attention to detail was disappointing. Large selection of beers, not a lot of quality in the TV reception. Reality show on one and the one with... More
