Description: Clock Tower Ales is a new pub in The Dalles, Oregon. They offer pizza, salads, sandwiches, wraps and many appetizers. They are working on their own brews but until they perfect them they offer many wonderful brews, all on tap. It's a bright and happy place with great pizza and beer. The bartender, a friendly young lady, was happy to discuss local fishing and other recreational opportunities in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our pizza and our visit to Clock Tower Ales. We will definitely be back the next time we pass through. Really fun place.

The Fairfield staff gave us a heads up about this place. The beer choices were plentiful and the food was reasonably priced.

We have visited the Clock tower twice and each time we have enjoyed the atmosphere . Once we listened to a local group play wonderful music and the other time we sat outside and ate and drank local brewed beer.

We stopped by because it was the closest pub to our motel. It was Happy Hour time and we decided to work on our list, visiting micro breweries around Portland. Our beer was fantastic and another beer later we decided to stay for dinner. In the meantime a huge table began to fill up with guests for a birthday party.... More

Enjoyed the atmosphere in this restaurant and couldn't get over the portion sizes for the lunch salads. Very tasty indeed. Good service.

Love the atmosphere of this place. The food was generous and good. The bartender was helpful while I was trying to select a microbrew. My only suggestion for this place is that the waitress/waiter explains that when they are very busy (and they were the night we were there) that you need to go to the bar to get a... More

Stopped in for happy hour to find a good number of inexpensive munchies to pick from to go with a very good beer and wine selection. A little disappointed that the cider selection included three fruit-flavored ones, no typical apple or pear ones. I opted to try the half order of nachos that they had on the HH special and... More

During the terrifying night hundreds of our citizens waited to find out if their homes were still standing while the wildfire roared through, the Clock Tower posted something on their Facebook page about some fun & dancy event they were planning for Friday night. I politely replied that perhaps they should wait for the fire danger to pass before inviting... More

It's always a delight to find a hopping brewpub in the place you are stuck in. The place has the vibe, location and elevated streetside patio. It was pretty busy and it took a bit to get a menu and then an order in but that's not a reason to complain on a Saturday night. What is a good reason... More

I must say, I do like the beer variety, but other than that.....none of us are fans. The service just plain sucks, and the food is overpriced. They have outdoor seating, but no shade?! Really?! Almost $50 for a sandwich, a burger, chicken strips, one domestic and one micro brew?! No thanks.
