Clock Tower Ales is a new pub in The Dalles, Oregon. They offer pizza, salads, sandwiches, wraps and many appetizers. They are working on their own brews but until they perfect them they offer many wonderful brews, all on tap. It's a bright and happy place with great pizza and beer. The bartender, a friendly young lady, was happy to discuss local fishing and other recreational opportunities in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our pizza and our visit to Clock Tower Ales. We will definitely be back the next time we pass through. Really fun place.

Loved the decor and atmosphere!

I loved the decor at Clock Tower. We had a large group, so we used the back room at lunch time. I had clam chowder and a salad. Both were very good. The salad was cold and the chowder was hot. The server was on top of everything despite the size of the group and it was a great experience.... read more

Enjoyed a nice dinner outdoors on the patio. Food was pretty good. Atmosphere was ok. Not many places to eat dinner in town. Convenient located.

The chef needs to learn how to cook a burger. Medium rare does not need mean well done. The bartender / manager needs to act more professional. I was in shock when a customer asked where his soup was and the response from the bartender was "That's on your server," with a smug tone. Also, I really don't need to... More

The best thing about this place is the covered patio seating, although you're looking at the traffic going by on Union and Third streets. We did see a couple of police cars go by with their sirens screaming and that was quite a deal. Anyway, these people have a scillion beers and if you want you can get four ounce... More

The food selection was typical of a brew pub but they elevated them from the standard fare. They have a nice selection of micobrews and a full bar for those not into beer. Prices on the high side but worth it.

Went here with our car club while staying in the Dalles. The waitstaff was very good,...great attitudes and very helpful, but the food was just so so. I wont say it was bad but I also cant say that it was good. There were many choices in beer and if they brought the quality of the food up to the... More

WE LOVE THIS PLACE! Friendly service, great food and atmosphere. Love the steak and blue cheese wrap, fish and chips and burgers. There's a choice between big steak fries or shoestring potatoes, they're both good. Homemade salad dressings and lemon aiuli (mayo) are great! Staff is so friendly it's like you're with your own friends. Ask about the ghosts... They... More

Invited a friend from Portland for lunch...thot we'd try this place...WHAT a mistake. It was a littlecrowded, but there were 4 or 5 waitresses onduty. My friend ordered an "Out West" Salad w/chicken. I ordered BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich w/cup of soup. After eating half of her salad, my friend found a small, green worm under a lettuce leaf. When... More

This place was originally the jail or something, back in the day they even had hangings there, then it was a mortuary and I even down the rickety basement steps and observed the mortician equipment that is still down there , creepy, also where the bar is now was where the bodies were laid out , nice to now don't...
