Ranked #10 of 59 Restaurants in The Dalles
Cuisines: Contemporary
Dining options: Reservations, Late Night
Description: Clock Tower Ales is a new pub in The Dalles, Oregon. They offer pizza, salads, sandwiches, wraps and many appetizers. They are working on their own brews but until they perfect them they offer many wonderful brews, all on tap. It's a bright and happy place with great pizza and beer. The bartender, a friendly young lady, was happy to discuss local fishing and other recreational opportunities in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our pizza and our visit to Clock Tower Ales. We will definitely be back the next time we pass through. Really fun place.

During the terrifying night hundreds of our citizens waited to find out if their homes were still standing while the wildfire roared through, the Clock Tower posted something on their Facebook page about some fun & dancy event they were planning for Friday night. I politely replied that perhaps they should wait for the fire danger to pass before inviting... More

It's always a delight to find a hopping brewpub in the place you are stuck in. The place has the vibe, location and elevated streetside patio. It was pretty busy and it took a bit to get a menu and then an order in but that's not a reason to complain on a Saturday night. What is a good reason... More

I must say, I do like the beer variety, but other than that.....none of us are fans. The service just plain sucks, and the food is overpriced. They have outdoor seating, but no shade?! Really?! Almost $50 for a sandwich, a burger, chicken strips, one domestic and one micro brew?! No thanks.

This little place had an amazing beer menu, including lots of local and regional offerings. The food was good, but the tremendous variety of beer options really does it for me. Absolutely worth a stop.

Take people here a lot and the food is always really good and plentiful. The beef in the burgers and sandwiches is WOW. especially love the patty melt.

Liked the outdoor seating but menu was limited, especially for vegetarians. The wrap I had was very good though and the waitress was very nice.

We had a late lunch here and came back for dinner and for desert. Great beer (ale) list and great food. The staff was friendly and helpful, they let my husband sample several beers before making his selection.

Very good selection of delicious beers and surprisingly good food. We had a nice relaxing lunch after a long day of traveling and touring the Columbia River Gorge. The wait staff were friendly and patient. There are lots of places like this around the country of varying quality. I would rate Clock Tower Ales as one of the better ones... More

We were looking for a pub to watch the soccer game The Netherlands-Argentina (World Championship, half finales). We were welcomed so warm! We watched the game on a large screen, we ordered some beer and a wonderfull soup (chicken and lentilles). Thanks!!
