It doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside is comfortable. The service was fine, food was very good.

do not be put off by the outside appearance (it looks like it is closed )when you open the door you are greeted by a quite elegant interior. the food is excellent and the staff efficient and friendly and we would recommend this place without reservation.

Stopped here on our way to Portland. So glad we did. Light fluffy onion rings, seafood bisque with a soft sweet bread, thick prime rib that melted in my mouth. We'll be back.

The food was very good....portions were plentiful. I had stuffed prawns, Mike had the fried prawns...or was we know them in Texas....shrimp. They were fresh and large, the bread was fresh and good, fresh asparagus as a side and potatoes. Everything was from scratch, I interrogated them intensely so I would not get a migraine...I did not get a headache........(except... More

Went there for Valentine's dinner the day after. Waitress was great, very attentive, very pleasant. Ordered blackened salmon and the 1/2 tenderloin. Salmon was good, but potato and carrots were lukewarm. The tenderloin was burnt literally to a crisp on the metal plate, and was STUCK on the plate. And it was the only item on the plate - 6... More

Service was courteous and the prime rib had a great taste. The baked potato was done just right and the asparagus on the side also had a great taste.

From the outside, the place looks doubltful; not sure we would have gone on our own, but we were with our group and they had been told it was a good place to go. Liked the service, atmosphere, food, prices - nice roadhouse. Did not dislike anything.

Our meal was served very cold. Prime Rib was cold, stuffed prawns were so cold that the cheese was hard. Soup was thick and cold like a concentrate. Vegies had no flavor and were clearly microwaved. On a positive note, the service was great. We were greeted at the door and seated immediately even though we didn't have reservations. Our... More

Although the building doesn't look that inviting, the food is.... Jay and MaryKay Kane do a wonderful job at the restraurant... Great drinks at the bar or in your booth... Try Marykays Teriyaki to accompany your steak... Great prime rib on weekends... By the way, they make their own bread and it is to die for.... Just a great place... More
