If you want fine dining in Sunriver, go here!

If you are in Sunriver and want fine dining, this is your place. I had the halibut and it was fresh and delicious. The salads were excellent and children's menu was really nice (salmon, pasta, and others...not chicken nuggets and PB&J). I almost didn't go because of more recent so-so reviews... read more

My husband and I were looking forward to enjoying an excellent experience but were sadly disappointed. A tiny cramped space, our table was almost on top of other diners even though the rest of the tables throughout the room were empty. our entire dinner took about 36 minutes about $1 a minute for ou meal. Portions very small, appetizer portions,... More

We live in the Sunriver area and unfortunately there are very few places in Sunriver that are that good. Mainly because it is a resort community. But our go to place is the South Bend Bistro, Husband and Wife run and work it everyday, Husband Lars is the chef and Jamie waits tables. Great Food, Great friendly service and cozy... More

This was our second superb dinner here, after eating at Marcello's earlier. Our entrée of beef tenderloin with veal reduction and whipped Yukon gold potatoes was a classic; and a meaty duck breast, grilled still crimson inside with port-lingonberry sauce, was really fabulous and fork tender. Both meats were perfectly cooked, an important component of any meal. An interesting side... More

We visited on an off season weeknight. Rain splashing off the deck with an autumn breeze ruffling the aspen leaves. We were greeted by the waitress who was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed drinks while deciding on dinner. My wife ranked the lemon drop martini among the best she has ever had. We shared a seafood bisque and Caesar salad.... More

I visited here after my wife finished with her conference here. We wanted to try some place nice. I ordered the Pear salad and the beef tenderloin. The salad was very good but a bit pricey for what I got. The waiter then brought the tenderloin and told me I could cut it with a butter knife. He was right.... More

Great service but food not as. Both pasta options heavy on the fattening garlic cream sauce. Tomato basil soup awful (tasted like it was out of a jar of marinara sauce with some added water).

Very small, especially when the outside deck is not in use. Be sure to reserve. Closed Mon/Tue. The food and service were excellent. The wine list was small but adequate, the corkage fee is $15. My wife had their signature duck breast entree and I had a pasta; both very good. They have smaller salad options for $5 and my... More

This place has great food and the same energy level as the crowds outside. Plan to spend a little more money and time. Fun.

We had a wonderful meal. The crab cakes were great, just dungeness crab meat and the tenderloin was luscious. This is not our first time that is why I say "why eat anywhere else,". So far all have been superb experiences. The service is gracious and accommodating. Alway friendly.
