Downtown Springfield (Washburne), Oregon, is recovering from its recent seedy past, with new restaurants opening and historic old homes being renovated. Washburne café is one of my favorites. They feature art, from high school to professional local talent. The food is good and the owner will chat with you if not too busy. If you get their newsletter, they will... More

I have eaten here for both a lunch meeting and friendly lunch date. Both were nice. Friendly service, good food. Healthy selection is a nice choice.

The Washburne Cafe is a great place to meet friends or family for lunch. It has a nice adult atmosphere and the food is made fresh. I've always had soup and a sandwich or salad and never been disappointed. Good value for your money spent.

We went for my birthday and we won't go back! The sandwiches aren't worth $8 a piece and the cremosa's were tasteless and not worth the $2 we were charged. We also sat there for a while wondering why everyone that got there after us were getting their food and drinks first. Finally we got our drinks but still no... More

Excellent food. Cute cafe, love the window seats. A pleasant local find for us. We will be going back again soon.

Great atmosphere ... delicious food ...fantastic Breakfast menu.. Although I have enjoyed their sandwiches and homemade soups on many occasions . I keep forgetting about breakfast. Not any more! Love the quaint look and feel. And the staff are really nice. Obviously a favorite with the locals, always a good sign. Im glad that I stopped by again...Never been disappointed

This is a very pleasant lunch stop in Springfield, close to the freeway. We found the food to be very well prepared, with fresh ingredients. The only disappointment was that the manager told me they can't afford to use the wonderful local produce available in this area. I had a spinach wrap and my husband had one of the paninis.... More

We were on the I-5, and in need of a rest break. We veered off towards springfield, and stopped at the visitor info to ask for a recommendation. They pointed us to the washburne cafe, and it was good advice. We had a Mediterranean panini with coffees, and it was scrumptious! Definitely hit the spot. The town has a quaint... More

Great little place in downtown Springfield, the only negative to this little place is the location. Downtown Springfield needs a facelift in the worst of ways; Wildish and Planktown help but there needs to be more than just these 3 locations to bring this place back from the dumps. Food was a little pricey but not unreasonable. Will definitely come... More
