Description: Ciao Pizza was designed to offer the experience of an authentic Italian...
Ciao Pizza was designed to offer the experience of an authentic Italian pizzeria. We serve made from scratch pizza, calzone, and pasta, along with appetizers, soups, salads, and desserts. Most menu items are baked in a classic wood and gas fired stone oven. The beverage menu includes an extensive wine seleciton, beet on tap, as well as bottled beer. The desserts are made by Excelsior's award winning pastry chef "Mama" Milka.

Good Italian

First time there. Had a delicious pastrami sandwich. Others in the group had pasta, soup and a salad. All reported their choice very good. Highly recommend.

We love this pizza restaurant! The staff is extremely welcoming, efficient and friendly. We were there with another couple and one of them asked about a certain beer. The server immediately brought him a sample to try. We ordered the delicious 12 inch Diabola Pizza which was more than enough for the 2 of us. We also ordered the Oregon... More

I have been trying to find a good Italian restaurant since I moved back to Oregon and I think I've found it. I went with my family, we are four adults, and we ate lunch for $50 with tip included. I had the Ravioli Con Carciofi, artichoke heart ravioli, and it was divine. The sauce was a roasted red pepper... More

I was looking forward to eating here, and really wanted a good meal here. I had high hopes, but sadly, I was disappointed with my pizza here. I found the staff to be very nice and friendly, I was greeted right away from several of the staff. Inside, it looks nice. I ordered the Margarita pizza. It was just a... More

I try to always stop here for one meal when I'm in Springfield. The staff is always friendly and efficient. For me, the Capri pizza with pepperoni is a must do. The focaccia bread they bring to the table is delicious. They also offer gluten free crust for slight fee for those that need it.

Nothing special . I LOVE a good pizza, but this one was below average in all areas, Sauce, crust and toppings were just average. Very disappointed. There were only a few others in the restaurant so the waiter was at our table every few minutes. Very distracting. We will not be going back.

The food is excellent here. There is not a lot of ambiance and it is not a large restaurant, but the food and the reasonable prices are the Star. I had the stuffed mushrooms and they were great. My companions had the ravioli and raved about it. They have a wonderful Happy Hour; we intend to return.

Stopped into Ciao with my family last week, and had a great time! Ordered a large pizza 1/2 & 1/2 with my wife, while kids had cheese pizza, mac n cheese, and a pasta with red sauce. They all finished their food, which never happens! My wife and I could not... 16" pizza is bigger than you think! It was... More

Five of us visited CIAO on a week night, it wasn’t crowded and the server was friendly, attentive and her service was timely. We ordered 2 calzone, vegetarian and one with “roasted” chicken, a Caesar salad, and 2 small vegetable topped pizzas. The calzones were huge and each one could serve at least 3 people. The accompanying red sauce was... More

Great wood fired pizza and pasta dishes. Nice selection of drinks and salads. The only downside was adding shrimp to my pasta dish; it was an additional $5.00. Additions were not priced on the menu other than as an extra charge. The wait time was about 15-20 on the Saturday we had dinner there. I recommend giving it a try.
