As a stranger to this cute cafe, Can't remember being so warmly greeted by an owner. We were offered a tasting of each of three soups to make our decision; we both had the meatballs/veggie, and found it hardy and full of meatballs. R sandwiches were ingredient-packed and yummy. No room for ice cream, but they had plenty of choices... More

We were lured in by the promise of homemade soup and sandwiches. This was not a good choice for us. The atmosphere was a step up from a cafeteria type setting and while I sampled all three soup options and chose the split pea, most of it was uneaten by me. My sandwich was only so so. Go somewhere else....

Super friendly foreign lady serving up yummy ice cream. Salad and food options looked good but we stuck with sugar!

It is fortunate that Ali's is a half block south of the highway, as otherwise it would be too crowded. Alisa, with her golden braids, is the image of her native Ukraine, greeting the guests warmly, to put it mildly. A variety of excellent soups are served in sizes big, bigger, and huge. The sandwiches are appropriately sized to the... More

Ali's is a sweet little eatery just off the main street run by Oryisa, a Russian lady. You will know her by her long yellow pigtails and friendly manner. Oryisa makes virtually all her food. Sandwiches are great. Usually two or more home made soups daily. It also has a variety of ice cream flavors available. Outdoor seating available in... More

My mom and I have a girls weekend once a year in Sisters and this time we stopped by Ali's for some soup and sandwiches. The girl working the restaurant was very sweet and helpful. Our food was incredible and the owner was so funny and charming. This will definitely become a tradition on our getaways.

The service was excellent! The owner was very thankful for our service and there were many other patrons in the restaurant. She gave us samples before we ordered. All food was homemade and wonderful. It's been a long time since I've had such a great restaurant experience. I will definitely go back!

This is a MUST eat stop in Sisters. Orisya is from Russia and is so pleasant. She had 3 soups that day, Clam Chowder, Split Pea and Chicken Noodle. She let us sample all 3 and they were all yummy! The prices are $4.50, $5.00 & $5.50 for the soups, and the portions are huge. The roll (95 cents) is... More

The owner is soooo sweet and tries to bend over backward to make you feel welcome and happy with your food. The sandwhiches have a ton of meat on them. They have pretty good smoothies as well!

OK, the homemade chicken soup was very good, lots a chicken and noodles. The strawberry and banana smoothie was excellent, the server, aka cashier was very sweet and efficient, the hoagie was adequate, all in all, go for the soup and smoothie. Make your own sandwich from Safeway andthen you could give Allies 4 stars. You can do better in... More
