Cool down

Stopped in to get a Milk Shake, We had the Huckleberry. Fair prices and tasted fine. Small and quaint place. Many people came in and ordered burger and fries while we enjoyed our shakes.

I just finished a mushroom swiss burger, fries, and a chocolate shake. Must admit to being a bit disappointed. The burger was good...probably a 4. The shake was very run of the mill and so were the fries. I've been waiting to try the Snocap for quite a while and was hoping for something special. It's good, just not great.

This place reminds me of my first job. Grew food. Great homemade ice cream. It was my moms first job. We come back every year.

Have been wanting to stop her for their hand made ice cream. Finally managed it this week. Two lines were going, one inside for food orders and one outside for ice cream, shakes, sundaes, etc. Only two couples in line in front of me for ice cream so thought it would be a quick stop and move on, WRONG. While... More

This is a MUST Stop in Sisters Oregon! The food takes you back to the good ol days of long hot summers, ice cream cones dripping off the come before you can eat them and grilled hamburger and fries served with a cheerful smile over the chest high counter. I seriously think this place hasn't changed since the fifties or... More

Times are getting tough for these old nostalgic burger places. Other places offering hand pressed ground chuck and local fresh ingredients are winning my palette over. Still if you want to revisit childhood nostalgia with frozen smashed patties on sesame buns all smothered with warm wilted lettuce and that unknown pink sauce, this place checks all those boxes. I will... More

I read the earlier reviews and I wanted a good milkshake. The building is run down. It is not quaint. It needs maintenance. The shake I got, blackberry (this is Oregon), was below average. It was too sweet, there was not really any flavor beyond that, and it was light on blackberries. The flier was talking about home made ice... More

While I am sorry you had negative experience with us, I personally wanted to respond to your concerns. The building and the Sno Cap was established in 1952, and owned by my family going on 37 years now, I believe. First, it was my grandparents who worked tirelessly for 20 years to bring it to where it was. My father... More

On one of our stops here we also had food - decent burgers, great corn dog, very good grilled ham and cheese. But we were there 3 times in all because the milk shakes were the best we had had in a very long time. Very, very thick (ask for a spoon or you will be there for a while)... More

Oh where do we start? I have never done a review but we feel like we have to after our experience. Staff obviously hates their job and are rude. Takes forever to order and then another forever to get your food. If the food was good, it would be worth it but it's not. It's generic, the fried food tasted... More
